About a month ago, I was caught for a misdemeanor by the Anaheim Police Department and since then my case has been transferred to the Orange County Probation Department. I recently received a letter that says I have an interview scheduled with a probation officer where the details of the case will be discussed. Can anybody tell me in detail what the interview would be about? Also, what's going to happen after the interview?

My wife was fired back the 1st of March of this year. Her official reason for being fired was failure to perform job duties. (This is the state of GA) She was 8 months pregnant and still working for this company. There was no warning letter, just a phone call saying you are being fired and we'll send you a letter why. She was blown away that she was fired. Is this worth getting a lawyer and fighting for the money? I dont know what to do.

I have a friend who lives in south LA with her kids in a FEMA trailer on private trailer park. she and her kids own a dog, about all they still have from before Katrina. The park owner is saying that all dogs must go, but this dog is an indoor dog for the most part. Are there any laws that can help her get around this?

Judgement for divorce was made in1989. The court retained jurisdiction indefinitely over child support, spousal support, and my pension. Since then my wife has not made a claim to any of it. Can she still petition for it or is it too late. My kids are not of the age of majority.

I watch a lot tv lawyer/cop shows and they are always bringing this up. What if a pyschologist has some patient telling of the serial torture murder escapades he goes on every now and then. Won't that Dr. call the cops on the monster?

Since drug Patents expire in 17 years, I believe all patents should also expire in 17 years so that we are able to get generics of all inventions and are able to save money.

Then why the hell aren't you marching in the streets demanding those responsible for the war in Iraq step down. Why aren't you revolting? Oh, I see, "American Idol" and "Dancing with the Stars" are on.... And then it's "Deal or no Deal" followed by "Anna Nicholle Smith's true Hollywood Story"...Oh well, maybe next year.

I purchased a camcorder yesterday for $1066 according to their website. This morning they told me on the phone they are going to charge me 1299 for the camera. they didn't tell me if it was a website error they are just saying this is how much this camera cost in the us. I gave them premission to charge my card first but after I check the site again I was right in the beginning, I purchased the exact model for the exact region I wanted for $1066 on the site. Basically, they are ripping me off by not following their price on the website. I called them again they gave me the worst customer service ever, put me on hold, pretend my phone is breaking up can't hear me.. and just put me on hold when I KNOW they did that on purpose.

and now my credit card is charged almost 1400 including shipping.. how do I fight this? if this is illegal can I find a lawyer for this wrong practice?

Please advice.

In a recent case law, a lesbien couple has sued and won for child support from a sperm donor. Since organ donation is illegal, should selling sperm be illegal as well? Plese don't present the argument for couples trying to have children. There are plenty of unadopted children in the world and the cost from a fertility clinic is tantamount. Making sperm donation illegal would protect the rights of parents, children, and the donors who are usually poor college kids.

I got hurt because of my landlord negligence. i tripped over a six inch pipe that was sticking out of the ground.I broke my wrist and had to get surgey to fix the problem. It was like that for months. I contact an attorney for there advice, we(my attorney and myself) agreed to make them represent me. They sent the landlord a letter. After that he came to my door very shock and scared telling me he can lose everything and that he hopes that im not suing him for a million dollars. He also didnt fix the pipe as of yet. Do his insurance company have to take a look at it first? Would his insurance company contact my lawyer about this? How would that all work out? How would you know if they insurance company is going to fight or not? Would they contact my lawyer about what decision they are going to make?

For example if you were German during WW2.

Would you fight AGAINST your country???

Are you automatically a traitor if you fight against your country even if your country is commiting war crimes in your name.

I don't know how everybody else feels about it,
but to me I think Hispanic people in this country,
legally or illegally, made a huge public relations
mistake with their recent demonstrations.

I don't blame anybody in the world for wanting
to come to the United States of America,
as it is a truly wonderful place.

But when the first thing you do when you
set foot on American soil is illegal it is flat out
wrong and I don't care how many lala land left
heads come out of the woodwork and start trying
to give me sensitivity lessons.

I don't need sensitivity lessons, in fact I don't
have any-thing against Mexicans! I just have something
against criminals and anybody who comes into this
country illegally is a criminal and if you don't believe
it try coming into America from a foreign country
without a passport and see how far you get. What disturbs
me about the demonstrations is that it's tanta-mount to saying,
"I am going to come into your country even if it means
breaking your laws and there's nothing you can do about it."

It's an "in your face" action and speaking just for me, I don't
like it one little bit and if there were a half dozen pairs
of gonads in Washington bigger than English peas it
wouldn't be happening.

Where are you, you bunch of lily livered, pantywaist,
forked tongued, sorry excuses for defenders of
The Constitution? Have you been drinking the water
out of the Potomac again? And even if you pass a bill
on immigration it will probably be so pork laden and
watered down that it won't mean anything anyway
Besides, what good is another law going to do when you
won't enforce the ones on the books now?

And what ever happened to the polls, guys? I thought
you folks were the quintessential finger wetters. Well
you sure ain't paying any attention to the polls this time
because somewhere around eighty percent of Americans
want some thing done about this mess, and mess it is
and getting bigger everyday.

This is no longer a problem, it is a dilemma and headed
for being a tragedy. Do you honestly think that what
happened in France with the Muslims can't happen here
when the businesses who hire these people finally run
out of jobs and a few million disillusioned
Hispanics take to the streets?

If you, Mr. President, Congressmen and Senators,
knuckle under on this and refuse to do something
meaningful it means that you care nothing for the
kind of country your children and grand-children will
inherit. But I guess that doesn't matter as long as you
get re-elected. Shame on you. One of the big problems
in America today is that if you have the nerve to say
anything derogatory about any group of people
(except Christians) you are going to be screamed at
by the media and called a racist, a bigot and anything
else they can think of to call you

Well I've been pounded by the media before and I'm
still rockin' and rollin' and when it comes to speaking
the truth I fear not. And the truth is that the gutless,
gonadless, milksop politicians are just about to sell
out the United States of America because they don't
have the intestinal fortitude to stand up to face reality.

And reality is that we would never allow any other group
of people to have 12 million illegal in this country and
turn around and say, "Oh it's ok, ya'll can stay here if you'll
just allow us to slap your wrist."

And I know that some of you who read this column are
saying "Well what's wrong with that?" I'll tell you what's
wrong with it.These people could be from Mars as far
as we know. We don't know who they are, where they
are or what they're up to and the way the Congress is
going we're not going to.

Does this make sense? Labor force you say? We already
subsidize corporate agriculture as it is, must we subsidize
their labor as well? If these people were from Haiti would
we be so fast to turn a blind eye to them or if they were from
Somalia or Afghanistan ? I think not.

All the media shows us are pictures of hard working Hispanics
who have crossed the border just to try to better their life.
They don't show you pictures of the Feds rounding up
members of MS 13, the violent gang who came across
the same way the decent folks did. They don't tell you about
the living conditions of the Mexican illegal some fat cat hired
to pick his crop.

I want to make two predictions.

No. 1: This situation is going to grow and fester until it erupts
in violence on our streets while the wimps in Washington
drag their toes in the dirt and try to figure how many tons of
political hay they can make to the acre.

No 2: Somebody is going to cross that border with some kind
of weapon of mass destruction and set it off in a major American
city after which there will be a backlash such as this country
has never experienced and the Capitol building in Washington
will probably tilt as Congressmen and Senators rush to the
other side of the issue.

I don't know about you but I would love to see just one major
politician stand up and say, "I don't care who I make mad and
I
