The 2nd amendment has a lot of stuff in it. What exactly are you talking about?

Interestingly enough, many liberals or "progressives" are against new firearm legislation, if not outright pro-gun. Hilliary Clinton has said she's a supporter of the 2nd. I also happen to be pro-gun, and I'm a Socialist. Besides, the democrats will get our guns as soon as the neo-cons overturn Row V. Wade. Which will be never on both counts.

Most Americans, including most Democrats, want stricter gun control laws because of the absurd amount of gun crimes that occur in our country compared to the amount of gun crimes that occur in countries with stricter gun control laws. That has nothing to do with taking away the second amendment rights Both parties have been responsible for stripping the American populace of second amendment rights and support keeping the current measures that defy the second amendment in place, according to the will of most Americans. (That's what usually happens in a democracy, given enough time).

Wait, we don't have a well regulated Militia that bears arms? Or the democrats want to get rid of the National Guard? When did this happen?

Because 30,000 Americans a year are shot to death by other Americans in America....and thousands more victims of gun crime are maimed wounded raped assaulted and traumatized not to mention widowed orphaned etc....I'd call that a lot of good reasons.

alot of them prolly have ties to organized crime. they profit like hell you have no idea. Englands crime rates went up the wall however they made their laws more equal (policemen cant carry them either now).
