Most judges in most states listen to a child at the age of 12, however, it must be at the request of the attorney and parent. Without them how will the judge know what you want.

Talk to the parent you want to live with and have him/her ask the judge to hear you. You can even write a letter to the judge and give it to the attorney of the parent you want to live with.

It basically depends on two factors.

One, whether the judge wants to listen to them or not.

Two, whether what they say conflicts with what the judge is going to do anyway or not.
