As long as she's over 35 years old and an American born citizen she can run. Heck, a former President can run again if he hasn't already served two terms My mistake, I checked The Constitution and a former Pesident cannot run again.

There is no constitutional law that says Hillary Clinton can not run for President.

So, yes, it is legal for a former First Lady to run for President. You should know that if Vice Presidents are allowed to run.

Why would it not be legal? And I'm sure that if it ~were~ illegal, someone on Hilary's team would have mentioned it to her by now.

There are laws restricting the number of times that a person can be president, but so far, no one who's been president for two terms has ever tried to run again.

i hope there is a law. The Clintons back in the white house? That is a scary thought!! I dont think there is though. As long as she was born in the US and is over 35 she can run. Any one can run if they meet that criteria. If there was a law stopping her I think some one would have told her by now.

There is absolutely nothing in the law that would prevent it. For that matter, the only things that would prevent someone from running are age, country of birth, and if he had served the last 8 years consecutively.

Yup. It might also be legal for a former President who has served two terms to serve again (after a break) as Vice-President.

Now, how scary would THAT be???

Obviously. I hope she doesn't win! I'd rather see the first black president than the first woman president. I just can't stand Hilary Clinton. I don't care about her politics...she's just a horrible woman.
