Contact an attorney, if you were this child primary guardian for 15 years how in hell did she get her back? Did you never get guardianship papers?

Do you want to continue to raise this child? If so, see a lawyer as soon as possible. It is possible that you can make a case, but it will be an uphill battle. You should have done this ten years ago.

You could call a lawyer to see if you have any chance of recovery for expenses, but I wouldn't get my hopes up about that. Since you didn't force the issue of adoption or get anything in writing, you're a "volunteer". It's possible, but I find it unlikely.

I think you can sue her for it since you have had the child for more than ten yrs, I think you have that right and the child also has the right to go with whomever she feels is the best I think you should also get a lawyer

Find a lawyer that will do a no cost consultation and make sure that with any arrangements made, you only pay the lawyer if he wins the case. It sounds like you might have something, but it's hard to say.

Get the state to sue her with "child neglect"? Get an attorney if this is for real.

Sounds to me like you have a right to see that child, if not adopt her.

Do you have any official documentation? If not, I doubt it will go too far. Ask a LAWYER.
