yesterday i saw my next door neighbour talking to a bunch of teen lads who were being very rude to her and she was really calm with them.

she told me that for the last 3 years shes had a problem with these lads kicking the ball over in her garden and them constantly going roung asking her for the ball. if she isnt in they'll climb her fence to get it.

shes fed up with the ball going over as there are 3 playing fields down the road. the lads are aged between 16-19, so they can obviously go there and play instead of winding up the neighbours. there are about 10 of these lads.

last week a ball went over my garden and it bounced off my patio doors- which i thought by the sound that it broke the window. luckily the glass was ok but my 11month old daughter was behine the glass and was scared.

i never gave them the ball back as i though it was out of order and shouldne be playing on a busy coulde-sac.

what can my neighbour do about the ball going over thats legal.

i was charged in a court for stealing and wilfred damage at 17 years old and at nighteen for assulting a police officer hindering an arrest resisiting arrest and obseane language these were pardoned what does that mean? what should i do quit i am so ashamed of my past

The government has made billions in tax revenue from the sale of cigarettes. Now many of us are addicted and have tried repeatedly to quit. They continue to tax cigarettes like crazy and ban smoking in many places.

In Iowa, the cigarette tax just went up $1.00 and it costs $4.85 for a pack of Marlboros.

Should we sue the government from profiting from our deadly addiction for so many years and then making it almost impossible to continue smoking? If so, on what grounds could we sue?

Just a question for those with a mind for the law--nothing has happened and it probably would not but I have an obsessive fear of my mother in law. I am Pagan, specifically I practice Witchcraft and lean toward a peaceful Goddess following. I am normal, pay my bills, have a healthy relationship with my husband and daughter. We have a wonderful family and I am a great mom. However, my mother in law is mormon and is very zealous. I fear that if I ever came out of my broom closet to her that she would not understand my faith and assume the worst (as most Christians do) and try to take my child from me. Could this ever happen? I know that Wicca is legally recognized as a religion now and that I have rights to my religion. But you see all the time crazy legal proceedings about people losing their jobs and custody battles because of someone's unfounded fear, hatred and intolerance of earth-faith people. Should I keep hiding this from her?

Somebody asked a question a few days ago about the FAKE WAR IN IRAQ, I answered that the old addage about keeping your mouth shut and people might think you a fool, or open it and remove all doubts. I commented that the asker had removed all doubts...I now find that I have received a repramand from Yahoo for abuse and my answer was removed......I answered Yahoo that this person in my opinion was a fool and to ask the opinion of the families of the soldiers killed in Iraq. I am going to but just wanted to see what everyone says. I was on a street bike gsxr 600cc going about 30mph and a 91year old lady merged in my lane and him me. I went flying and lucky I was wearing my helmet or I would be dead. I broke a couple ribs in 4 pieces and my spinal cord is chipped. Major road rash, and knee is all f'ed up. I feel like I want to die it hurts so bad. Went to ER and I am sitting at home now. Bike is totaled. Her car is all messed up it was also towed. She is at fault there was witnesses. How much is a realalistic law suit?

My Missouri P. O. said I termed and that she was to cease interest in me (I no longer needed to report to her) about a year ago. But KS just sent me a summons to court for a revocation hearing. My probation was extended last I knew but the interstate commission sais it was not and that I termed supervision. Am I done or about to go to prison?

Terrorism, Crime, Injustice... I think these are all caused by one same reason... The feeling of not being what he/she should be or have. Hunger (Greed of others) Freedom (Power over the powerless) Not Loved (Self Love), etc... The US is claiming to be the heroes of freedom and liberty by going to war against those who are afflicted by this reason. Isnt it better if they address the real problem, the root problem? They should spend more on saving lives and not on destroying (or what they call self-defense). What do you think?

If a breathalizer machine could be manipulated by certain commands entered into the machine to produce results favorable to cops and prosecutors and the underlying source code on the machine was not made available to the defense under the guise of "trade secrets" thereby rendering accuracy of said machine unprovable except for what the prosecution states would you vote to convict? Remember that under the constitution you have a right to confront your accuser.But the prosecution and the machines' manufacturer are trying to play hide the ball with potentially damaging information about the reliability of the machine.

Hi!

Okay -

1. I have lived in Santa Cruz for 2 years at the same place
2. They sold it to build condos
3. They gave me a 180 day notice to vacate
4. Gave 90 notice for me to refuse purchasing the condo
5. I paid for April's rent in full
6. 2 days ago a found a place to move in to that i can't pass up
7. Office told me I had to give 30 day notice and I will have to pay rent until May 6th. $250 extra.
8. Got notice that we will get $2000 for relocation

My question is, can i get out of paying for the 6 extra days at all? They gave ME notice to move out in 180 days - it said nothing about me giving them notice. I didn't know I would be moving so soon - if I did i would have given notice...but it is too late now - is there anyway to get out of it? It was a month to month - the office said I could try to talk to the owner....

Also they are paying me $2000 so I can move - (which will cover the deposit of my new place) do they have to pay me by law?

What about interest on my deposit?

My mom got this letter in the mail from Medicare saying they were going to take her house because of the money from when my grandparents were using it. Both of them passed away last year, and the house was in both my mom's and my grandfathers names.........

Can they do this legally?

What can my mom do to stop this?

Any suggestions?

I wrote 2 letters on resignation for both my supervisor and HR giving a two weeks notice. I walk in to my supervisors office handed him the letter and then next to HR . five minutes later my supervior called me into th HR office and asked me to pack my things. I did not know why.

But turns out that i handed my supervisor a letter that i had wrote my ex-boyfriend.

He told my to leave immidiately, and to not return.

On the bottom of the letter it says your ex girl friend. but it was not addressed to anyone

Can i get fired on the spot for that. I have worked with this company for 11 months and 3 of those months i was a temp thru a temporary agency.

It was just a misunderstandin and now i will be out of two weeks pay. is there anything i can do to get those two weeks paid out to me.
