Do you fight for what you believe in or do you take a back seat and allow others to do i on your behalf.

Are we allowed to criticize religious figures like we criticize politicians? Is it insulting to say Jesus is a mtyh? or that Mohammed was a bad person? Can one go as far as insulting religious figures
Should one express his beliefs openly, or rather keep them to himself? Opinions?

Mi boyfriend was involved in an auto accident. He was at fault, there was serious damage to other drivers vehicle, some damage to his vehicle, definately over 750.00 - Minor injuries to other parties, (bumped knee, shaken). He went to the other vehicle after the accident and provided them with our insurance information and then left the scene before the police arrived. He left because he has a warrant for his arrest and did not want to go to jail on Friday evening. He also has a suspended license for not paying the traffic ticket which caused the above mentioned warrent and the car was 2 months overdue for registration. Car is also registered to his mother, she tried to retreive the car from the scene but they would not allow it and towed it. How serious of trouble can he get into? He did move his car to a safe place and provided evidence of liability before leaving and NO he was not under the influence, just did not wast to spend Easter weekend in jail for warrant.

At my school, they can suspend you for not telling (if asked) about something bad that happened. Is this fair? My friend was forced to tell on these guys because the VP threatened her with suspension. isnt this in violation of the fifth amendment?

i was at the mall today with my kids, they were playing in the center court playground, my son had a bouncy ball in his hand and was running around playing with another boy, when this boys grandmother starts yelling at my son, she grabbed him by the wrist and tried to take the ball out of his hand, she said because he was being selfish with the ball. i was watching my son the entire time, he was just playing, there was no fighthing over this ball. then she grabbed her grandson by the wrist and dragged him about 4 feet. i went up to her and told her she had no right to grab my son and yell at him. i was so mad i took my kids and left after that, as we were walking away she continued to scream at me so loudly she got the attention of about 10 surrounding stores. the only thing i could think to do at the time was to get us out of that situation, but now that i think about it i probaly should have called the cops on her.

my rent check was returned from my new landlord becoz both me and my brother 's name is printed on the checks. he insisted I write him a new check with out my brother's name printed on it. My brother doesnt live in the apartment. My previous property managment accepted the checks for years. I live in california. Are there any law states that I can not pay my rent with both my and my borther's name on my check. anyone or lawyer out there? He is making an issue when there is none, I dont feel like getting new checks becoz he say so.

It would stop a lot of drug dealing and people working for cash while claiming benefits and immigrants who are not supposed to be working if we all just used cards and done away with cash altogether.

i want to have the ç put on my college diploma but they said i have to file for a name change and show valid documents that also have this accented letter.. but the SS card and birth certificate dont have it either.. do i need to go to the courts to have a total name change to just get the accent mark?

I am being charged with a DUI which I regret and have learned from. I hope to retain some rights to drive to and from work. I live in California. Is there a need to acquire attorney services to ensure I get this? I would like to just pay the fine, do my classes, serve the penalties and get on with life (and never drink and drive again.)

If the savings is in her and her son's name and he is paying all of her bills, can he use the account for himself as well?
She died Jan.28th of this year.
His sister was written out of the Will and wants some furniture, and some savings bonds in her name, can we give her these things before the all of the estate matters are closed?
She is calling all the time, crying and angry, it's getting very upsetting, we want to give her what she is entitled to, and what she wants from the estate, but, we are told we should wait?? she is going to contest the Will, isn't that expensive? She is in PA, we are in MD, mom lived in MD, would she have a chance?
Also, she has 5 kids, 1 was put into foster care for a year and social services has been contacted numerous times, would that hold up in court if we needed it?
