It would stop a lot of drug dealing and people working for cash while claiming benefits and immigrants who are not supposed to be working if we all just used cards and done away with cash altogether.

Seriously, though, what would government do if it couldn't run around creating and stomping out crises?

they are going to it is the illuminaties plan to control everybody
check the mark of the beast on www.infowars
when everybody can only buy and sell with microchip implants
the credit card system is prepearing us for that
and then one day the cash system will become obsolete and only thiçose with the implants can buy or sell ---anything food drink clothes etc.

and we become total slaves to the illuminati
so patience it is coming

Pre-paid credit cards would replace cash. Nothing else would change.

Nope, it sure wouldn't! You need to do your research. ANYONE can get a Pay-Pal account and anyone can get a bank account. With a bank account comes a debit card. Think about it..... getting rid of cash won't solve a thing.
