Now i'm wondering, when i go to court for the first one, is the judge gonna be able to see the one i got the day after or does it take a while to actually show up? And what options do i have w/the both of them?

btw, everyone speeds now and again. it's the governments big money-machine trap. while good people are paying big fines, meth-heads, murderers and child molestors are getting free meals and housing.

It was right before class started (in between classes) when i remembered i forgot to turn off my phone... teacher (not mine) saw me doing something. He took it (even though he didnt ever see me with my phone) and gave it to the V.P. Parents came to get it and he would'nt let them have it (even though in the rulebook it says "parents can pick up taken items") he said it was a "new rule" and that i could'nt have it back. (he was also very rude to my parents) P.S. he has given phones back to people... only the people he likes.

Nothing SICK! We want to keep the apartment building we have safer and the camera would only survey who comes in and out the main door. Is this legal? Or would it be legal if we put a sign up telling people they were on video surveillance?

I was living at a duplex for three and a half years and the whole time I was being broke into by the landlord there, and the people on the other side. I moved to get away from it and they found a thug on the police force who knew other thugs on the police force to break into my new home by contacting my landlord and asking to come in and he let them in. Come to find out hundreds of times over the last 14 months I have lived here. I feel as my rights, my money, and my privacy have been totally raped.

I know he's my brother in law but not for long because he and my sister are seperated. In my opinion, I never liked him. He's a nut case, his family's dysfuctional and he's been charged with trespassing and robbery before and now he has a gun. I don't like having a family member owning a gun or having a guy in my house who owns a gun. What if he has it in the car or hidden somewhere in his pockets when he's in my house? He has a police record. Don't gun stores check for buyer's background to be sure he never commited a crime? He hasn't done anything bad to me or my sister or my family but god knows what's on his mind. I don't know what to do. I don't know what he's buying the gun for and I don't want to approach him about it, making him upset and my sister doesn't know why he has a gun and my sister acted like she didn't care. But then what else is new? She NEVER acts like she cares about anything.

In Arkansas, there are three people sitting on death row today because they were hired by the boyfriend, who didn't want to pay child support, to kidnap his girlfriend, who wanted to have the child, took her off to a remote area and beat her within an inch of her life with the express purpose of killing the child. And when she was on the floor, she begged for two things: Her own life and her baby's life. These men were charged with two crimes, the murder of the girl, and the murder of the unborn baby. Explain to me why it's murder in this instance, but not if the girl wanted to end the pregnancy? How can the unborn child be a living entity in one scenero, but not the other? Side note...I am in no way condoning what the boyfriend did.

If it was proven in court that it was PURELY for self defense, would you have to go to jail? If so, how long? No, I am not a murderer, just curious.

About 4 years ago,My husband was in a nasty accident. He was working at a place called City Tire. He was putting air in a tractor- trailer tire when it exploded in his face. His jaw was broken, he had a skull fracture and both ears were ruptured. One of the first things i done was call a attorney. He seemed realy good at first. About a year later we had to go to a remedeation, we turned down the offer which was 15,000. Then are lawer calls us ,saying that we better take the money becouse he didnt want this to go to court, he said we might not get ant thing if we didnt take it. We ended up with 12,000 dollars. It has been about 4 years now, and my husband has almost lost all of his hearing, his jaw swells up all the time. he cant drive at night becouse he cant see after dark. I want to know if there is ant thing that we can do, i know we cant re-open the case but can we target the atterney, Its almost like he got paid off. thanks for your time. : KRISTY

I am always wondering about this side of abortion. If the right to an abortion is a womans because it involves her body (evidently having to carry the baby to term is her decision) why is it that a husband or father does not at least have the right to his OWN body having to work to support that baby for the next eighteen to twenty one years of its life.

In other words, shouldn't HE have the right to insist upon aborting the baby if he doesn;t want to support it? And if the mother declines than shouldn't she be responsible for its support one hundred percent?

The ER I work in is thinking about attempting to collect $3 from Medicaid patients at the end of their visits if their visit was a non-emergency.

As long as the visit is a non-emergency, they are allowed to charge/collect $3.

I think this is a great idea! We see way too many of the same Medicaid patients on a weekly basis for minor things. Maybe this will make people think twice before using the emergency room.

What are your thoughts?

I recently googled my name and came up with only 10 results, so I know my name is unique. However only seven of those results were related to me, the other three were guestbook entries in different languages (Russian, Thai, and German( none of which I speak or read. Worse yet they were advertising porn and all types of crap. Help! I'm going to be graduating in less than a month and have been searching for a job, I'm afraid potential employers will see this. I contacted google but have received the run around, I even contacted the webmasters but received no response. I wrote a paper that was published and received some criticism for it and I believe the illegal posting of my name is directly related to this. I need to know how to stop the person or get search engines to omit these results. Is it possible to copyright a name and threaten to sue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gotta love good ole Arkansas, It is Arkansas law that a man can legaly beat his wife once a month just as long as it is done on the front steps of the county courthouse.

There is also a law here that makes it illegal to put ice cream in your pockets......go figure.

Anyone else got some crazy laws from other states??

We are being fined for an animal we no longer possess nor are the current owners returning us the infomation required to remedy the fine.

The Municipal Code is stated as such:
"17.25.060E. Mandatory sterilization $125 first violation; $150 each subsequent violation."

Now, just to clarify, this is a one-time violation and would not result in 'subsequent' violations if the animal were to continue to be considered uneutered. I would really dislike being fined $150.00 a day fine for an animal I do not have.

Thanks
