I'm 15 year-old, and want to move out of my parents house. I already sort of know the procedures, but what I really need to know is what job is going to pay me enough to suppot myself. I need to know where or how to get the money for insurance, a house, and all that other stuff. Can anyone help me out?

At 15 years old you would need to get your parents permission to work in the first place. Get your education. Do you realize that there are top notch adults who have graduated from grad school in their profession and can't find a top paying job. Employers will never pay you enough or what you are worth. You have to really fight for high paying jobs. You have married adults who struggle to survive on two incomes. Now what makes you think that you at 15 years old can go out and make it on your own. This is a doggy dog world and everyone needs someone. My advice stay at home get the best education you can so that you will be able to provide for yourself properly. Add this up:
Rent: $600.00
Water:$75.00
Lights:$125.00
Gas: $225.00
Transportation/Gas:$200.00 (If you ride the Bus or the transit)
Food: $300.00
Cleaning Supplies, Tissue, Personal Hygiene items: $50.00
Clothes: ??????
Now you add it up and decide if you want to face this world at 15 years old!!! This rent is in Arkansas for a one bedroom so what ever state you live in look it up!!! And if the apartment is electric the rent is higher. Kids, Kids, Kids!!!

To get emancipated you are going to have to PROVE to the Court that you have that figured out on your own and can legally be considered an ADULT.
If you can't do that then you have NO BUSINESS being emancipated.
NONE of us adults want to take care of you when you screw it up because you weren't ready. Parents are a PAIN in the NECK with all their RULES, but they are there for a reason and that is to TEACH you how to be a contributing ADULT.
Perhaps if you have had a HARD life with more responsibility than you deserved then you might be ready.
At 15 I had spent over 6 years TOTALLY caring for my younger brother and sister; meals, diapers, homework and was working 25 hours a week under the table. I went to the service at 17 and my parents promptly burned down their apartment.
Just don't have a girlish temper tantrum over this and be thankful that you have a home. If you have truely been abused then seek HELP IMMEDATELY and let the chips fall where they may.
Throwing yourself into a world that you just don't understand yet just isn't the answer. You may not like it at home now but being on your OWN at 15 is just beyond your comprehension.
People will offer you help, but with a hidden agenda; just don't go there!
My sister ran away at 16, got hooked up with the wrong crowd looking for a place to sleep and paid the PRICE with two abortions.
You may think that your parents are unreasonable, but I assume that they are doing it to prepare you for a nice and productive life when you are READY to leave and be on your own.
Been down the road and sincerly wish you the BEST; ENJOY life because a life of TOTAL RESPONSIBILITY comes WAY TOO SOON.

okay here is the short of it. You are only 15. Child Labor Laws are going to prevent you from having a job that is going to earn you enough money to move out and support yourself. Your only choice, would be to find a job like mowing lawns, baby-sitting and stuff of that nature, but a judge is not going to consider that enough of employment for you to support yourself. You could look for a job where you would get tips. Such as a buss-boy, or a server in a small restaurant, most places still will not hire you until you are 16, then it would have to be a place that does not serve alcohol. Then at least you could make the maximum amount of money for the limited hours you will be able to work. Hope that is of some help for you.

I think you will still have to finish school, Most states require students to be in school until at least 17. As for a job, at 15 it will be difficult, but not impossible. You could pump Gas, try delivery services, Work in a department store, a waiter, or some other position in a restaurant. Or think what you really like, and try that. Good Luck

If you have to ask this question, you are not ready. Enjoy this, these are two thinks I live by, well at least reflect on, they will help you throughout your life
"As a rule, a mans a fool When it's hot he wants it cool. When it's cool he wants it hot..always wanting what it's not!"
" I am where I am. I know where I could have been, had I done what I did not do. Tell me friend, what I can do today, to be where I want to be tomorrow!"
Authors Unkn.
The only fair advice I can give you is carry with you these two thoughts and honestly ask yourself how they apply before you do something.
