Go tell the ATF its off your record after 10 years, still can't ever own a firearm again. Doesn't matter if your felony was when you were 18 and now you're 100.

first time offender - ten years - and it's off the record.
second time offender during the ten year period of the first and you are looking at longer.

but you might be able to get it expunged.
