Anyone can bring any weapon secretly onto campus, where they know that no one else poses any threat to them, being unarmed. How do we best protect our children from those armed predators who secretly disobey our laws at will? Especially when they attack our children in their schools?

Beyond the pound of cure, what is the ounce of prevention for such lawless individuals?

My boyfriend turned his supervisor in for doing drugs at work. Then two days later his supervisor fired him. They are calling it a layoff, but we believe it is because he turned his boss in. This company is not too legal anyways. They have loads of stolen farm equipment and they require their workers to "volunteer" time without being payed. Is there anyway to take legal action against this company. This is a small town family owned company that has been around for 20 years. Please help!

my boyfriend got 2 tickets like last year for the exhaust being too loud and for illegal lights he didint show up for court the two times he needed to go and also just on friday we went to get insurance for my new car and they told him his license was suspended but they didint send him a notice can they get him the day he goes to court to schedule for another court date hope it doesint confuse you any advise on what he should do i also live in the state of california

A person has some property they own. Another person asked them if it would be okay to park an old vehicle on it for a few days. The owner does not live in the area and doesn't know that any vehicles are still there. A few people in the community asked the person to get rid of the vehicle/s because it is rusting out, windows have been broken out, and it is so old it has become junk. The person has been notified and keeps telling the others what they want to hear and then does nothing.
City officials: a judge of Civil Suits, the enivormental trash authorities, sheriff's department, and the county health department have all been spoken with on the individual case. They advised the questioner about the rules that are being broken. "It has been over 20 years, and now, there are more of the same persons vehicles parked on the other persons private property, and else where on the block, and the officials of the city, county, and local environmental protection agency has not lifted finger to enforce their laws. Does that make them all criminally liable for the crime?"

A neighbor of mine has 12 cats. They all stay indoors. The cat urine and poo smell is so bad that it fills the whole neighborhood with this aroma. One day this neighbor ask me to take her somewhere. I almost threw up, but I got her there and back. It took a month to get the odor out of my car. I have called around to see what I might could do, but everyone I call says that there is nothing I can do. I can not entertain in my back yard anymore. I have a pool, but no one wants to swim in it anymore because the ordor is so strong that it comes right into my back yard. I live in the middle of town, not the country. How can this go on in the city. I need help. The mailman quit delivering her mail for a while because he could not stand to go up on her porch to put her mail in her mailbox. He wrote her a note and told her to pick it up at the post office. he hoped this would straighten her out, but it didn't. The smell is getting worse and worse. I am desperate.

I loaned someone very close to me approximately $8,000 which included a credit card that was maxed out by the individual. I keep all the information because I felt that there would come a time that I might have to sue to get my money back. That information has disappeared. I believe even though I did not want to that the individual took that information out of my house as no one else had need for it . This person knows he owes me that money and although I do not have the information (of course its being denied) I do have e-mail correspondes that I kept in which he states he knows he owes me the money, along with lies and excuses as to when I would be getting it back. It has been over four years and still I have not recieved my money, ( partially because I did not know if I could sue without my proof) anyway I am fed up and want to know if I can sue with the e-mails stating he knows about the money?

My mail forwarding never went through for some reason. My previous landlord may have just thrown the package that came in the mail for my son's 1st birthday away instead of telling the mailman that we don't live there anymore. It was a valuable package, what do I do when I didn't receive it because the change of address didn't go through and my aunt didn't receive the package back? It was sent over a month ago!

i use to work for a company that is being investigated by the epa. they have come to question me 3 times, and was wondering, if i was also being investigated, would they have to tell me when they come to question me? or can they just come here and try to indict me without letting me know about it. should a lawyer be present with me next time.

I work for an over-priced clothing shop in Scotland called USC. Just about all the managers in the place are money greedy and care about nothing other than how much they make. Recently I was disciplined for refusing to clean the staff toilets (which are in a disgusting state) after being verbally and almost physically threatened into doing so. The managers are also verbally aggressive if staff ask politely to use the toilet out-with their break.

My question is this: I would like to take these scum down but don't know how. I would like to have some sort of Healthy and Safety inspectors arrive unannounced to take a look at the shop. How can I have this done without going through USC. I mean, we are forced to work in a pretty unsafe environment (exposed electric sockets - as in, smashed to pieces, metal sticking out) where management constantly and aggressively threaten certain staff (including myself.)

Is there a number I can phone or an address I can write to?

my neighbors daughter is only 16 and she can barely read and write she just had a baby about a week and a half ago she is not very fit to be a mother at all what can my neighbor do to get custody rights over her grandson in his best interest this girl can't even take care of herself and gets mad when she is asked to pick up her room she is constantly cussing and screaming at everyone in the home including her mother she has been arrested several times and has been in juvenile detention her friends have her thinking she can be emancipated but how is that possible if she cant read or write

I used to be friends with these people and they've recently gotten a pit bull and decided to dislike me for whatever reason. They are both on "manic and bi-polar" medications, smoke pot, and are unstable. They now have a pit bull who's been off the leash and on my yard. Police were called and it got more severe since. I've started a repor with the police to build any necessary case to press charges if need be, however, I'm uncomfortable in my own yard. What do I need to do to protect myself, my 2 young children, and quadriplegic husband? I'm afraid that they will now send the dog after me and the dog will attack my child instead. Any suggestions out there on how to handle this?

I had an independent medical exam and the doctor said I can go back to work with no restrictions but my doctor disagrees. I feel like I could start working soon but do not want to go back to the place I worked before, I was injured by one of the clients there and they have combative clients there and I don't want to be reinjured. They have cut me off my workmans comp and I am looking for work now where I wont get hurt. My question is if I quit the job where I was injured and never go back can I collect my vacation and sick pay? What rights do I have if I try to fight this through workmans comp? My lawer does not want me to quit my job, he wants me to go to court to fight this. Do I have to work at a place where I could be injured again very easily? I cannot afford to be without some money coming in. What should I do? I appreciate any input, I live in Minnesota.
