It's amazing how many of these cameras don't have film in, I cant understand why? They make a massive profit , I think I've been flashed about 3 times, just a bit above the speed limit, never heard anything about it.
It's happening so often that people will just think ' oh its not going to have a film in' and carry on as normal!

What type was it? . . Stupid response I know, the old Gatso's used to only take pics from the back, also, did it flash once or twice? And were hardly ever loaded with film, the slightly newer Tuvelo . . I think thats what they're called can take pics from the front too, so i could've been someone going the other way that triggered it? And there's the digital cams that can practically tell what your thinking as you drive by, but in answer to your question . . . . give it a few more weeks before celebrating.

I think it can take between 7 to 10 days to have the fine if you were caught.
However, I used to live by a speed camera and it was common knowledge that it didn't work - it just flashed randomly to make people think it did. I think quite a few of them are dummy cameras.

if you havnt heard anything in 14 days then you will not get a fine if after 14 days you presented with a fine you are in your rights to have the fine waived.
although speed cameras flash it could be the vehicle behind you or vehicle going opposite way.
also not all cameras take pitches as a blue flash is a warning.

What was the speed limit when you were doing 35 mph? That is awfully slow. If it was under 10 mph over the speed limit, you probably won't get one. Even so, it would have to be a really small fine, if you ever get fined. Then again, why worry about something that has not happened yet? My guess is, you won't get a ticket. So all this worry for nothing.

I've been flashed quite a few times, and only ever heard back from it twice so got away with it at least 3 times, good luck, and try to slow down

Depends if it was a digital speed camera, if it was then about 90% you got nailed. If it was a old film one then the chances of you getting picked up seriously go down.

Hard to tell. Maybe the flashing did not result in a ticket.
Maybe it takes a few days to search for your plate and find your address.
I don't know.You don't know.
Gives you something to think about doesn't it?

quite often they have flash but no film... I think it can take up a month - but if you haven't heard anything by next week relax- there's nothing you can do about either way right?
