i use to work for a company that is being investigated by the epa. they have come to question me 3 times, and was wondering, if i was also being investigated, would they have to tell me when they come to question me? or can they just come here and try to indict me without letting me know about it. should a lawyer be present with me next time.

Have you done wrong? If you are a part in the company doing wrong then you may wish to have representation. If not and just the company or others in the company then no problem.

They are not required to disclose that a person is subject to an investigation.

As for an attorney the right does not attach until you are arrested. If you want to have an attorney fine...but without a reasonable suspicion that you are being investigated you may look guilty.

* i would have thought it was in your legal right to know if you are being investigated .perhaps if you find your are for no reason you can sue them for invasion of privacy.consult a solicitor or c a b.

answer is yes & no....government will tell you when you get a top secret clearence they go way back in your family...I found out my great great grandpa rode with frank and jessi james ! thought that was a great family history find ! big company's will not tell you............................
