In my last question that was answered very well, I asked if I was invading a copyright infringement and it was explained to me that it was. if someone was a "director" for a company (say in 2002), can they also be made into "company secretary" (say in 2004), it just doesnt make sense. isnt DIRECTOR meant to be a higher rank than a COMPANY SECRETARY?? so someone who was DIRECTOR why would they ALSO be made into COMPANY SECRETARY.??? please help..!!

There is no justification to murder. The right to live is being jeopardized in this nation, and "where does a human being come from" ? Is it a mass or a growth connected to ones body? Who gives anyone the right? "If we were laid like hen eggs we would not be connected" then what? Would life be crushed?

my fiance's 1st baby mother and i started talking a while back about having our kids meet. and because i wrote a blog about how i felt about their situation she took me off her friends list and "printed out" everything i wrote to her. The thing is i never wrote her calling her names or anything of the sort. All i did was write her telling her that the way she was acting was wrong. i talk to her "ex-friend" and i saved all those conversations too, none of it shows that i am threatning her. i told her if she wanted me to take down the blog she had to tell me. but i know that i can express myself anyway that i want as long as its not slaughtering anyone else. the blog does not have her name in it and it does not have her information in it either. i dont know understand why she would file harrassment charges. is there anything i can do about false charges or anything?

Not sure where this belongs but will ask here.
My friend had a baby over the weekend and ontop of a shitload of badluck (the baby passed away) the baby's father gave his stepmother the tape which he recorded the birth on. Now his family will not give her the tape until they make copies. It has her privates on it and she really does not want copies floating about without her permission. She doesn't want anything to do with the family and she already has a lawsuit pending on the hospital, but she wonders if she has grounds to take them to court and if she should. Its was her boyfriends property, but it is her in the video.

Need info...a woman who committed financial fraud agaisnt me (89 counts) has been indicted by the grand jury for two other drug charges. The DA told me he was going to present the financial charges by "accusation" and there is no need to go back to a grand jury with the financial charges. Is this correct and what does that do to the strength of the fraud case.

As in, I know you cannot legally say anything bad about the company you work in, or make it look bad in any shape or form, but if a manager says you have to do whatever they want outside of company time, are you legally required or it's prison time?

i work at a bank, no union or anything. this girl showed me her drivers liscense the other day and her hair cut was like practically shaved, being the idiot i am i said something like "oh this hair kinda looks like a dike haircut." she got offended i said i was sorry and it seemed like the whole thing was going to blow over.. i found out yesterday she sent in a formal complaint to human resources about the incident... This is my first offense, what kind of punishment am i looking at??? Can i be fired for something this stupid? Thanks, dave

They keep saying that President Clinton is worse than president bush because he fired all US attorneys when he first entered the white house and Bush only fired 8.

Bush also fired all US attorneys when he first entered the white house, then fired those that he brought in that were doing their jobs ethically.

Is that the problem the Bush supporters have, that the US attorneys were doing their jobs ethically?

Everybody knows that having ethics is so unrepublican.

I am interning at a non-profit agency as a grant writer, but was just asked to write a confidentiality agreement. I have no law writing experience and was asked to write the agreement so that I couldn't disclose any information. I am wondering if I am qualified to write one. I don't think so. I am also wondering if this is even legal.
