O get over it....maybe the question should be..."is it legal for an employee to sit around on the computer all day answer yahoo answer questions and get paid for it?"

Anytime an employer requires an employee´s attendance that time must be considered as hours worked, even though the employee may not be engaged in a productive work activity.

Any time a company requires the presence of an employee, be it a scheduled work shift or a meeting they must compensate them for that time.
