What type of law would you enact or hand down to child abusers and why?

Child abuse laws are not as stringent as if you murder a person they get 5 to 10 years in prison and a child abuser gets 120 days in prison and classified as a sexual person... whats up with that?

Two important points to consider:

1. One of the highest and most important functions of any society is to protect the children.
2. Child Abusers cannot be cured.

With those two items the only answer in a just and fully functional society is to remove the threat to the children by removing child molesters from society forever. Too many have been released to harm children again and again. That is an utter and complete failure of society every time it happens.

The only solutions that seem workable is to either imprison them for the rest of their lives or to execute them. In the case of a child molester I have no problem with either one. Some people are going to cry about their rights but they gave up their rights. They gave them up the first time they began to molest a child. While there is no point to torture and cruelty to even such a low creature as a child molester, there is no reason to allow them to live either.

The National-Union believes it should be 10 years for abuse to children, women, and elderly with a probation of 5 years if the convict refuses to give up the habits that caused the crime. This was supported by one of our loyal voters, http://www.voteprimous.com

They should be skinned and thrown into a pit of salt, same with child rapists! There is no excuse for hurting a child. It makes me sick.

The laws in place are pretty broad in their scope and punishment. As long as they are enforced, they cover the issue.

creating another law can only weaken the present which I think is pretty much effective if fully enforced...
