There is no justification to murder. The right to live is being jeopardized in this nation, and "where does a human being come from" ? Is it a mass or a growth connected to ones body? Who gives anyone the right? "If we were laid like hen eggs we would not be connected" then what? Would life be crushed?

Abortion is wrong. But it's a moral issue, NOT a legal one. While I could never have or encourage an abortion, I also have the right to do what I want with MY OWN body. If I allow others to take away that right, which of my rights are they going to go after next?

Abortion is a MEDICAL decision and should be decided by the person in question, the God they answer to, and the medical professionals on the case. There are lots of religious beliefs out there, and they are all different. Morality CANNOT be legislated.

How do you see that you have the right to impose your beliefs on other people. Ask yourself if you were raped and got pregnant and are not financialy capable of raising a child until adulthood. What are your options? Call mommy and daddy, will they raise your child? Place the child up for adoption...do you know how many children are in homes right now awaiting to be adopted? You need to live your life according to your beliefs and let others live according to thier beliefs. Having an abortion sometimes may ensure a better life for all who are involved. Imagine that unwanted child growing up being raised as a ward of the state or being thrown around from foster home to foster home with noone to truly call family. Sometimes it hurts to think about it but to let go is the better decision.

The most common belief is that until it is capable of living outside the womb, it is not an independent life. If you start saying that a fetus, dependent on being inside a woman, is a life, then really anything inside your body could be a life. A tumor could be a life. And we aren't laid so we don't have to worry about discussing that.

Have you adopted an unwanted child lately? If you have then you have the right to have that opinion. If not your just blowing moral smoke. And sorry I didn't take any classes on nonsense in college so I won't address those last couple of sentences. Are they points or just horrible abstract ideas. Either way they don't make a whole lot of sense.

And if you voted for George Bush you helped kill thousands of Iraqi children, does that bother you?

My question to you would be, if you cannot trust someone with a choice, how can you trust them with a child? You cannot legislate morality nor can you force people to love their children or be good parents. I would not consider an abortion for myself....but I don't have the right to force my morality and my decisions onto other people. Legal or illegal, abortions have happened thru history and they will continue to happen as long as time lasts. My big question is why do people find it so offensive to abort cells but have no qualms at all at bombing children in Iraq?

I believe in the right to abortion, but I won't justify with those facts.

I'd rather say I would love see someone who is admittedly pro-life put their money where there mouth is. There are many unwanted and unloved children in foster care who need foster parents. If you are so loving as to protect the unwanted unborn and try to make personal medical decisions for women than protect those that are born and unwanted.

You're right there's no justification for murder. But since murder is the killing of a human being by another human being, that's completely irrelevant. A foetus is not a human. If you look at all the reasons why murder is considered morally wrong, none of them apply to a foetus.

Extending your logic, all humans should only eat fruits, as any other food source is harming a life or potential life. Also, will you help care for those infants whose mothers would have otherwise aborted them? I doubt it.."pro-life" is just a selfish ego-boosting ideology, you don't really care about the children.

abortion is being justified by governments who cares about the well being of its citizens. and abortions are imposed only as a result of some unlawfull acts such as results of rape cases, pregnancies that endangers lives of mothers, and unwanted pregnancies due to youngsters impulsiveness. however, abortions can not be labeled as murder as it keeps society in a healthy check!
if you can't stand alongside abortion laws, protecting yourself from its broadreach is the best way you can contribute...
