Why would you want criminals fighting for our country? I would rather have passionate & reliable people fighting for our country.

Having said that, for certain criminals I would like to see something like Bad Lads Army where criminals have to do a course. If they fail, they start again. So they keep doing the course until they pass. Some would learn discipline & then go into the army.

I sympathise but no the Army is no longer what it was and cant absorb idiots like this anymore it is leaner and meaner. The US army recently said one in three soldiers operate a computer and I imagine the UK figures are similar could you imagine these people being to that standard?Usually people like this are cowards also which wouldn't qualify them or do much for their comrades in arms.

Looking at our history, I believe conscription was good for the country and for our young people. I believe all 18 year olds should be conscripted.

Although I'd agree the military system of discipline is advantagious, I'd like to see these young people working as a peace or volunteer corps - working on building homes in earthquake areas or drilling wells in Africa maybe. Giving up two years of your life to good work, plus the military style discipline would be an excellent way to start anyone's life as an adult.

No they shouldn't send them to the army....you already know that though! What you need to do is file another complaint and press charges especially if they are throwing bricks at you. That's at the least assault with a deadly weapon b/c they could actually hit you in the head and kill you. Keep bugging the police until they do their job. AND take the parents to court to get your stuff fixed. Shoot turn the parents in for not monitoring them well enough and let them get in trouble too!
Good luck with your neighbors from hell!

The Army needs disciplined soldiers not hooligans. It would be best to put then for a year in a BOOT Camp first.
