Dear resident,

We are in the process of obtaining a denuncia against the country club, regarding the unbearable noise pollution.

Spanish law as it stands:

In residential areas there must be no disturbances over 40 decibels. Due to the many complaints I have received - (we are all aware that the clubs entertainments far exceed this).

We have seen a solicitor who has advised us to denounce the owners.

We would like to raise 500 euros to help pay for the denouncement in court.
Once the motion is officially lodged monitoring will commence.

Contributions or questions.
Please contact me at the above E-mail

Donations optional but every euro helps.

Thank you for your support.

My ex is threatening to take away my son. But i really dont want my son to go with him because he's violent, had history of being sexually abused (and they still let that guy over at their house), doesnt help support the baby and all this other stuff. My mom and i raised my son alone and couldnt afford to live in cali cuz my mom and dad recenlty separated. So we decided to move to mexico cuz my mom has a house here. I talked all this over with my ex and he seemed to have understood the situation and even gave me a written permission signed by him. Now he's accusing me of running away with my son and wants to take him away.

I want what's best for my son and yes i'd like him to have a father figure but I KNOW he will NOT be a good example or a good guardian to my son. So wat do i do to be able to keep my son?? I know i have to get a job to show i can take care of my baby im working on that now (im 18). i would really appreciate your help please!!

I along with four others, own a dinner theatre. Our business had been displaced when the company that owned the building we were in was forclosed on. It was imparative we find a home right away and we thought we did. My business partners and I negotiaged a lease for our business - and were assured we would have a lease in our hands right away -- we were in need of getting our doors open so we did the worst thing ever -- we trusted our landlord to do what he agreed to do. Needless to say as soon as we moved in he raised the rent and had a steady rent increase of 14% every year! It wasn't what we negotated so of course we wouldn't sign it. We tried for five months to get a lease that honored what he promised - to date that hasn't happened. We have found a new location, we have a ten year lease now signed with the new location and we are leaving the current location. Problem is -- the landlord is holding all our equipment (and our caterer's equipment) hostage. What can we do?

Basically I bought a laptop, it worked for a week and has now died, I paid via paypal but paypal put the money on hold for some reason or another "High Risk" apparantly.

Anyway the seller threaten me with court/Police etc so I sent a cheque, so I have paid for an item twice.

I told the seller this about in not working he says he will not refund me as it was working. But I think I have him, I checked his feedback and theres feedback on there from a seller, I look at the item and low and behold its my laptop being sold as faulty, and what is the fault? Screen not working which is what is wrong with mine, So its the exact same laptop. Paypal are reversing the Paypal funds but what can I do about the cheque? Surely this is fraud? And I should add the seller is a business,

I was recently convicted of Assault, M1 in Ohio, and was sentenced to 30 days in county jail, plus 5 years probation.

I already know I can apply for early termination of my probation, and it will probably be granted after 1 year.

Does anyone know if Ohio has any policy on early release from jail for good behavior or anything like that?

Please help me. I am in the middle of a custody case. Last year my 10 year old was awarded custody to his father who was absent at least 7 or 8 of his years. I give a brief break down. I went to jail in 2005 for a charge in 1999. The charge is done and over with. The father decides to step in and is awarded custody based on the grounds that he is married, in the army, and basically makes more money than I. I am not married but was with my other kids father for 8 years before he went to prison. I have 3 children from him. Since then I have been on my job for over a year and have never had my kids seperated or mistreated. I live in Florida and apparently legal aid is too booked to help me. I work in fast food and am limited to where I can work. Majority of my check is taken to pay child support and the rest barely pays the bills. I can not afford a lawyer, so I am stuck. My son wants to come home just as much as we want him home. Please help me some way some how. I promised him.

My mother passed away (resident in Florida, US citizen).
The Spanish consulate wants proof that she died intestate before releasing her accounts in Spain.
How does one go around proving she died without a will?

Remember the guy who got on a plane with a bomb built into his shoe and tried to light it?

Did you know his trial is over?

Did you know he was sentenced?

Did you see/hear any of the judge's comments on TV or Radio?
Didn't think so.

Everyone should hear what the judge had to say.

Ruling by Judge William Young, US District Court.

Prior to sentencing, the Judge asked the defendant if he had anything to say. His response: After admitting his guilt to the court for the record, Reid also admitted his "allegiance to Osama bin Laden, to Islam, and to the religion of Allah," defiantly stating, "I think I will not apologize for my actions," and told the court "I am at war with your country."

Judge Young then delivered the statement quoted below:

January 30, 2003, United States vs. Reid. Judge Young:

"Mr. Richard C. Reid, hearken now to the sentence the Court imposes upon you.

On counts 1, 5 and 6 the Court sentences you to life in prison in the custody of the United States Attorney General. On counts 2, 3, 4 and 7, the Court sentences you to 20 years in prison on each count, the sentence on each count to run consecutively. (That's 80 years.)

On count 8 the Court sentences you to the mandatory 30 years again, to be served consecutively to the 80 years just imposed. The Court imposes upon you for each of the eight counts a fine of $250,000 that's an aggregate fine of $2 million. The Court accepts the government's recommendation with respect to restitution and orders restitution in the amount of $298.17 to Andre Bousquet and $5,784 to American Airlines.

The Court imposes upon you an $800 special assessment.

The Court imposes upon you five years supervised release simply because the law requires it. But the life sentences are real life sentences so I need go no further.

This is the sentence that is provided for by our statutes. It is a fair and just sentence. It is a righteous sentence.

Now, let me explain this to you. We are not afraid of you or any of your terrorist co-conspirators, Mr. Reid. We are Americans. We have been through the fire before. There is too much war talk here and I say that to everyone with the utmost respect. Here in this court, we deal with individuals as individuals and care for individuals as individuals. As human beings, we reach out for justice.

You are not an enemy combatant. You are a terrorist. You are not a soldier in any war. You are a terrorist. To give you that reference, to call you a soldier, gives you far too much stature. Whether the officers of government do it or your attorney does it, or if you think you are a soldier. You are not----- you are a terrorist. And we do not negotiate with terrorists. We do not meet with terrorists. We do not sign documents with terrorists. We hunt them down one by one and bring them to justice.

So war talk is way out of line this court. You are a big fellow. But you are not that big. You're no warrior. I've known warriors. You are a terrorist. A species of criminal that is guilty of multiple attempted murders. In a very real sense, State Trooper Santiago had it right when you first were taken off that plane and into custody and you wondered where the press and the TV crews were, and he said: "You're no big deal."

You are no big deal.

What your able counsel and what the equally able United States attorneys have grappled with and what I have as honestly as I know how tried to grapple with, is why you did something so horrific. What was it that led you here to this courtroom today?

I have listened respectfully to what you have to say. And I ask you to search your heart and ask yourself what sort of unfathomable hate led you to do what you are guilty and admit you are guilty of doing? And, I have an answer for you. It may not satisfy you, but as I search this entire record, it comes as close to understanding as I know.

It seems to me you hate the one thing that to us is most precious. You hate our freedom. Our individual freedom. Our individual freedom to live as we choose, to come and go as we choose, to believe or not believe as we individually choose. Here, in this society, the very wind carries freedom. It carries it everywhere from sea to shining sea. It is because we prize individual freedom so much that you are here in this beautiful courtroom. So that everyone can see, truly see, that justice is administered fairly, individually, and discretely. It is for freedom's sake that your lawyers are striving so vigorously on your behalf, have filed appeals, will go on in their representation of you before other judges.

We Americans are all about freedom. Because we all know that the way we treat you, Mr. Reid, is the measure of our own liberties. Make no mistake though. It is yet true that we will bare any burden; pay any price, to preserve our freedoms. Look around this courtroom. Mark it well. The world is not going to long remember what you or I say here. The day after tomorrow, it will be forgotten, but this, however, will long endure.

Here in this courtroom and courtrooms all across America, the American people will gather to see that justice, individual justice, justice, not war, individual justice is in fact being done. The very President of the United States through his officers will have to come into courtrooms and lay out evidence on which specific matters can be judged and juries of citizens will gather to sit and judge that evidence democratically, to mold and shape and refine our sense of justice.

See that flag, Mr. Reid? That's the flag of the United States of America That flag will fly there long after this is all forgotten. That flag stands for freedom. And it always will.

Mr. Custody Officer. Stand him down.

So, how much of this Judge's comments did we hear on our TV sets? We need more judges like Judge Young, but that's another subject. Pass this around. Everyone should and needs to hear what this fine judge had to say. Powerful words that strike home. God bless America

back compulsorily from the Public. This is a leading multinational co with a strong product, R&D, Brand & profits. It has very conveniently excluded the Indian Public shareholders of any distribution of future profits. It may not declare "Dividends" in future considering that it has to pay Tax , but may continue to repatriate other types of compensation to its Parent Co. Is there any remedy for this kind of corporate behaviour with the Indian Public ? Can a reference be made to the DCA under MOF? If so do they have any powers under existing Laws to restore status quo or even to intervene in the matter? The revised Value affixed by the Co on its shares ( ostensibly to render the Individual-Public holding into fractional shares) is creating a precedence of some kind in the corporate world when in fact other companies have gone in for Stock Splits during the same time. One yearns for the FERA regime which would have dealt with this Co appropriately. Serious suggestions remedies requested
