We don't do use violence to end violence. What can we do about this?

That is not the point. The point is that they are using a religion that condemns violence by using violence to get their way.

The right to free speech does not permit violation of anothers rights. The Constitution allows for peaceful assembly. It does not allow a person or group to violate another person's rights. If they are breaking the law, call the police and have them prosecuted.
