The crime was committed many years, at the age of 15 and happened in the U. K, it is now'spent.' I now have a French Passport, instead of a British one-so, i shall assume i do not have to declare anything, or so i've been told. Right?
Thanks.

I would call the US Embassy and ask the question. Don't identify yourself -- if they insist on a name, give a false one. See if you can get someone to answer your question and try to get his/her name.

Generally speaking, people who have been convicted of crimes are not allowed in the US. However, you may be considered to have been a minor at the time of your conviction and the records sealed. That may work in your favor.

However, no one here on Yahoo Answers is going to give you an answer that is more accurate than you can get at the US Embassy. Call and ask the question, and get a straight answer.
