Do you think we should have it, or not?
I personally feel we should allow them the legal benefits of marriage. It does not have to be through the church, as marriage was originally and will always be between man and woman to the church (as it says in the Bible). Any arguments for or against this?

I live in Texas. My mother in law is a waitress, and she out under docter's care. She has a docters note saying she can NOT return to work until 4-6 weeks after she has a surgery. She has a female problem, and has to have surgery, or she could bleed to death. Her boss called today and told her that they have to replace her, and that they wouldn't fire her replacment when she was able to return to work. Is there anything she can do?

The person owing the debt has a name very, very similar to mine. But I am not that person and I do not owe the debt. This person has been able apparently to skip paying perhaps because the collection agencies do not ever actually contact the person. In cycles I get phone calls from nasty debt collectors. I give them the information I have about the person they need to contact. I've written letters to collection agencies. I've contacted my state's attorney general. Now tonight I have gotten another call from a past collection agency trying again. After at least ten years, wouldn't you think they would get the message that they have the wrong information? I don't think this can be called identity theft because they have the debtor's name and social security number. They do not have mine. What can I do to stop these people from calling me?

After reading many posts and being on several forums I have formed a hypothesis that there are many people (both men and women) who are becoming unplanned and uneducated parents.

What I mean is...Would there be a country or government that would enforce birth control to slow down the number of "kids" who are getting pregnant for welfare handouts and just because they were too shy to ask him to wear a condom or uneducated in this matter.

I hear so many times about parents who have children and then abuse the children through negect and stupidity.

Can we protect children from stupid parents by having each adult take some sort of written and practical exam before they are permitted to have unprotected sex?

We have to take lessons and exams to work and drive cars but practically anybody can just go and get pregnant.

Would this reduce the number of child abuse cases and the number of people recieveing welfare payments? Would this also reduce the number of STDs?

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said, when referring to the torture at Abu Ghraib... "This is no different than what happens at the Skull and Bones initiation and we're going to ruin people's lives over it and we're going to hamper our military effort, and then we are going to really hammer them because they had a good time. You know, these people are being fired at every day. I'm talking about people having a good time, these people, you ever heard of emotional release? You ever heard of emotional release?"

Janis Karpinski, commander of Abu Ghraib during the time, estimated later that 90% of detainees in the prison were innocent.

Is that an okay position to take? Are those statistics comfortable for you? Is torturing innocent people just some more collateral damage?

And to clear the record, I don't blame the individual soldiers near as much as I blame those that ordered them to do these things...and this goes very high up the chain and into the White House.

This guy burns wood in a backyard pit when it's 95 degrees outside the smoke and smell blows into my home.

I asked him why he burns wood, he says he likes to? I asked him to stop on very hot days yet he'll do it again a week later.

He's not only bugging me but polluting for no reason other than he likes to. I think he's mentally unbalanced.

What would you do? What can I do?

Please Help! I 've currently paying by financing almost 700.00 / month for my brand New 2006 VW Jetta TDI 1.9L. Ever since I've moved to the place near to my work without driving my car, I am thinking of rent out my car with an amount of money to pay my bill or make some money from it. I have the following questions,
1. Am I supposed to do it?
2. If it's doable, what kind of legal documents should I get for my tenants or customers?
3. Does it require to have a business lincense to do that? I only have one car anyway.
4. Have anyone like to share the story or experience in this case.

You know I'm amazed that anyone could believe such crap about 6 million Jews being killed in gas chambers and burnt in ovens.let me explain something to you, It's illegal to question the Holocaust in Europe. (Why)? because questions bring out answers, True answers. The truth will destroy a lie. So if you make the truth illegal the lie will survive. Lets talk about these fake ovens. 1. They can't be found. 2 to cremate even 3 million people it would take 35 years with ovens running 24 hours a day in perfect conditions, It takes 4 hours and lots of gas to cremate 1 body. If you piled 20 bodies together the time is increased to about 6+ hours a body as you're massing more together remember therefore 120 hours to burn 20 bodies. the body is mostly water. Its hard to burn water. and then you have to wait for the ovens to cool off before you can load them again because no one is going to willingly walk into a hot oven. the supposed gas chambers would leave bodies to be unloaded & buried

I am just amazed. I have been living in Europe and other places in the world where paid maternity leave up to 3 or 4 months (sometimes even a year) is considered a right of every working woman without any doubt. It is just hard for me to understand how you do not have a decent and paid maternity leave in the US as a law requirement for every employer! So, this is my proposal: a one day of strike, all working women in the country, and no shopping, no eating out... just for one day, to claim a right that is fundamental, that is recognized to other women in the world!... (my other idea was a bit more extreme: a whole, nation-wide, non-sex strike!)

My friend called me today saying that she just realized her boyfriend added their baby to his health insurance 6 months ago (the baby is now just over 6 months old and the new insurance took effect 2 days after he was born). They never got a card though- so she wasn't sure until she asked him to check on it.
Well, she called his dr to let them know they had other coverage and was informed that she was supposed to tell Medicaid the moment they added the baby to any other insurance- now she's worried she'll have to pay medicaid back for everything! or deal w/ the hassel of trying to get the other insurance comp to pay it.
She wanted to know what to do. Should she deal w/ it all? Just call medicaid and cancel, not saying anything? or what? She was worried medicaid would check w/ the new insurance to verify if she told them she was going to add the baby to her health care. She told the dr office she didn't have the new insurance info & still wasn't 100% sure he was added.
