I am having major problems with my neighbour, last night he came out taking pictures of my father and I, and then started recording on a camera. Then tonight he started filming my younger sister and I on our property....is this invasion of privacy?...if so can I see a link to the law. I live in Ontario, Canada.

well no I am not a celebraty. He is doing it to **** me off, and trying to get me to do something illegal so he can get it on camera. But I am not on his property or anything. Just an ordinary person walking.

Are you a celebrity? Did you ask him why? Need more info before I can answer.

Get your own camera and film him filming you. Then a passerby will stop and film the two idiots filming each other. This will cause others to get involved until there are too many people filming to get them all in the shot. And then we can all go down to Alice's Restaurant for a bite to eat.

Well, your neighbour can do whatever he likes. Now if he sells your image, then you can sue.

But in reading your question, I feel I am only getting half the story.
Why would he be photographing you and your father?
What would make your neighbour do this?

If you are publicly viewable from outside your property, he has every legal right to photograph and videotape you.
