The most fundamental question, what purpose does it serve to outlaw guns? I am a good person with no criminal record. I serve in the military and I shoot for sport. Why should you take my guns?

Marijuana and Cocain are illegal, yet you can go to at least 5 street corners in town and buy it. Does it not scare you that you might be forced to give up your guns as a good person, but bad guys would still have them?

Keeping in mind that most people are good upstanding citizens, don't you think that if all non-felons were permitted to carry weapons that maybe bad guys would be less willing to commit crime?

The right for us to bear arms is the peoples' means to protect our other rights. I mean, Hitler legislated complete gun control and look what eventually happened. So did Josef Stalin. So did Bonito MusellenniThink it can't happen here? Neither did the Germans.

That depends on what type of guns you are trying to ban. I think gun control is a tool designed to take guns away from law biding citizens. Diffrent people have different types of guns for different reasons: home prtoection, hunting, collection, etc... The people with guns you should be worried about aren't law biding citizens, so passing gun control laws are useless.

Here is something else to think about. Our founding fathers made a constituional amendment granting us the right to keep and bear arms. The fact that this is the second amendment should tell you how important this right is. So, no I don't support gun control of any type.

this is the non-public perception of mine that gun administration does not and could not each and every artwork. only semi-auto rifles should be allowed at most in my opinion. why make it legal for people to own those horrible things that cause death and fear. if you're a registered gun owner hopefully you just use it to hunt so having a rifle of the kind described above would serve that purpose. we don't need people running around with weapons, especially if they have access to alcohol or mind altering substances. guns are just another problem with our world. and even good people can get wasted and make mistakes.

First of all, I have to say it. Yes, it's true that guns don't kill people, people kill people. That being said, we have the right to bear arms, according to the Constitution. Also, in 99.99% of cases, people who are registered gun owners are not the ones to watch out for. It's the felons who acquire them illegally on the street that we need to worry about.

The main reason I am against gun control is that it is the ultimate check on to much government power. Any government should be more afraid of its people than they are of it.
