What Groups should i get ahold of there is a natural gas well beside my home that is on fire. They say it is a controlled fire... But it keeps me up at nite, I am recieving no money for the gas or oil they are pumping out, and it shakes the earth around it very badly. I have contacted the company but they won't help me i am getting the run around. Is there any harm that can affect my animals??? should i call an environmental society or is there a certain reason as to why they ar allowed to even burn this diminishing resource from under me. Why are they allowed to put a five story pillar of fire next to my home and get no reprecussions from it. Before they came here it was quiet. Thats why i live here and now that is gone. Please help... Maybe i should contact the news...

I am a black woman with a small business and i am the only black business in Desoto that has a liscense to sell beer and wine inside my establishment. A month ago my husband had a gun pulled on him in front of our business because they said his car fit the destription of robbers even though on the news it clearly showed that the robbers drove a black truck not a car. My business has been under constant harassment since opening. I am so tired. I try to make a difference in the community by trying to show that a woman can be successful in business and being a black woman shows other black women that they to can do this. Between the police and Texas alcohol and tobacco its been hard. I seem to be under a microscope all the time. Running a business is hard enough as is without the embarriment of the owners husband having a gun pulled on him in front of the business. Even though they apoligized the damage has already been done. He has liscene plates so why did'nt they know ?

A doctor told me that my bloodwork came back normal and ordered $10,000+ worth of medical tests. I was sick for 5 months and lost 30 pounds. I finally switched doctors and this doctor took one look at my old (transferred) bloodwork and saw that it was NOT normal but rather had high bilirubin and indicated a diseased gallbladder. I had emergency surgery within 4 days and was completely fine.

I filed a complained with the Texas Medical Board and after 9 months of investigating they found him at fault and they took corrective action (a slap on the wrist) for not telling me about the abnormal bloodwork. BUT they can't give me any legal advice.

How do I go about getting back that money that we paid? We still owe him $400 (after paying about $2,000), too. Do I need a lawyer? What kind?

I answered a question recently, regarding partial birth abortion, and I said that sick and screwed up people did stuff like that.
And I figured I'd get a fair number of people agreeing with me...
not so...
I got around 4 thumbs down, no thumbs up.
What's wrong with people?
Supporting abortion is one thing-(which I dont)-
but supporting partial birth abortion?
You might as well become a murderer.
As the case for any doctor who carries that out.
Anyone with me on this?

So I am having this on-going issue with a neighbor of my apartment complex. For some reason she can't seem to park in her own spot and it is driving me crazy! Last night she parked her front tire completely in my spot and it finally ticked me off so bad that I had to do something. I get home before her from work and I decided to park closer to the line on her side. Just enough room like when you park at the mall. I wrote a note and taped it to the inside of my window saying "Until you can learn the park in your own spot, this is how I will be parking!" Keep in mind this isnt the first time she has done this and she has been talked to by the Apt. Manager but it still is an on-going thing. I know it seems childish but I have no other way to get my point across.....what else can I do? and do you think I did the right thing?

I had asked a question a few months back about getting fired from my job because I lost my child. Well come to find out my work was telling people I lost my son from doing coke. I work another job which is federal, and requires extensive drug test, at random times. I have never done it, and never would. It pisses me off royally to know this job I was at for 4 years of my life would stoop that low. Is there anything I can do against this slander? My friend said a lawsuit, but I doubt thats good for anything.. Any help? Should I talk to a lawyer? thanks

So, being the smart guy he is, he stole a person's mail three times. Problem is, they videotaped him doing it the third time. Now he(who is under the age of 16) is panicking because those people might press charges. They called his parents(suspecting him) and his parents were not convinced; the tape was fairly bad quality. His parents eventually believed that he did it when they found the mail in his room. His parents already know that he did FOR SURE, but the neighbors that taped him do not. He obviously doesnt want the neighbors to know AND he doesnt want the police to know.
The evidence that the police has: the tape with a blurry image. What he has: an alibi and an attendance record that says he was supposedly at school.
The point is, What is the best thing for him to do?

OK I live in Indaian and I went out yesterday and was looking at a used van. I found one at a local Gates dealership and liked it alot. But I had a set of rims from my last van that I really wanted to put on and I didn't think they would fit so I turned down the van. The sales man told me to bring one of the rims in and they would check it out to make sure it fit if that was my only concern. So I did. Well I picked up the car today and the rims don't fit. The salesman assured me that they would fit and that I would have no problems with them. What are my options now? I put a downpayment down on the van and signed up for the financing but still owe on it I have had the car less than 4 hours now. Is there anything I can do are am I just screwed here?
