Is it good to work in India or UK as Solicitor ? What are the prospects of Lawyer who is member of International Bar Association ? Keeping in view development in India, which is Best place to start career in law - India or UK ? Still in international parlance, London is the best place as evidenced in international transactions taking place worldwide and also the international legal position.

I agree that London is an excellent place to wokr, but there are others. Dubai is quickly becoming a hot spot for major Multinational corporations due to it Free Trade Zone. Attorneys will be sorely needed there.

Also, look at Washington, DC and New York City. I have a friend who was an attorney in India, then got an LLM from Harvard. She is doing very well now and is not in a big city. (See her website and bio at www.murthy.com)

Remember: it's not just about what job you'll be doing or for which firm; it's also about liking where you're going to live, who you're going to be working with, etc. Don't take the decision lightly.
