Excatly what part of the constitution or ammendmants is getting away with a felony in?

Contrary to popular belief, it's not a constitutional right to get away with felonies. That's why you go to jail when caught. People in this country think everything is a constitutional right. I guess they are just exercising their constitutional right to be stupid.

That depends. Illegal search and seizure is the fourth. The right to a fair trial is the sixth. The right to not incriminate oneself is the fifth. I'm sure there are others.

What part applies depends on the circumstances. Ben Franklin said it is better that 100 guilty men go free than one innocent man go to jail. (paraphrasing) Our society, constitution and legal system is based on that premise.

felonies are not in the constituion or amendments. they are in the us code of fed reg and state laws.
