I remember Vine Deloria's book "Custer Died for your Sins."

In the temporal parlance of the current administrations lack of credibility and accountability -- did Scooter die for Cheney's sins?

1. Libby is not dead. He is convicted but not yet sentenced. His lawyer will soon receive, if he has not already, a phone call from the U.S. Attorney's office that says something like, "Now that we have your attention, want to talk deal?"
2. Of course the bargaining power that Libby may have has lost some of its currency. He might have been able to avoid prison by testifying against his superiors (Cheney?) before the trial, but now it is a question of degree. How much time can he bargain off by testifying.
3. A disquieting possibility for Mr. Libby might be that there is no one for him to rat out and that he really is going away for a long time.
4. In answer to your question, if Libby has knowledge of Cheney's involvement but chooses to remain silent, he will have gone to prison for Cheney's sins. Libby knows, Cheney knows. But you and I don't.

Sure he did. Administrations always have their "fall guy." Look at Nixon -- (Haldeman, Libby, others) Reagan (Ollie North)... that's part of the system, though--insulate those at the top from any liability for their dirty deed direction.
(P.S. what a picture!)

So a juror admits that they (the jury) felt that somebody else had commited a criminal offense and that Libby replaced into taking the autumn for that. And yet, the jury convits Libby of the crime. it particularly is a travesty of justice. shame on the jurors.
