Yeah you'd only really get in trouble if you distributed your flyers on Private Property.

I do not know of a specific law that says flyers are illegal, but I do know that you can be considered a trespasser if you go to the mall and do it. You can be asked to remove all of your flyers and then leave the property. I have also heard of people getting ticketed for littering because they were putting out flyers.

This is a local issue. Individual communities would have to create ordnances against it, however most communities do have ordnances against it. Plus if damage occurs from you placing fliers on the windshields, you are responsible wither it's illegal or not.

Not a state law but there could be local governing laws about litter and stuff!
