What purpose are they? If one is not paid for the amount of work done which has taken one year why are soicitors able to charge for the same work then? Surely no one works for nothing and to lose one's inheritance is no joke. You work for a year..you lose your inheritance and it is given to someone else who has never been in the picture whom the donor had no intention of giving anything to so he or she comes along and you hand over everything to them on a plate. How can that be fair? So it seems I was the village idiot that worked hard for nothing and lost my health in doing it all.

Could some help me find some action related to human rights that you could do in order to help. I need a well-developed paragraph, describe the choice of actions and how you could go about accomplishing it, how it relates to human rights, and explain why you selected it.

On August 28th, 2006, I took my car into my local Wal-Mart's tire and lube express to have my oil changed. Six months after the fact my brakes went out. My mechanic said that he found power steering fluid in the brake lines. He asked me who serviced my car last and I told him Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart denies any wrongdoing. Logic to me is that they were the last ones to service my car; therefore, they screwed up. I plan on wearing two poster boards tied together that each say "I was raped by Wal-Mart". Anybody think I'm safe, or do you think I can be sued for libel or slander?

If i get summons to appear in court and i don't show up what can happen to me and the person i am suppose to testify on? the judge said that the case is an old case and i thought they would have thrown it out but they have not yet. there is no evidence just my word. see i am going out of town and i won't be back until after the court date. to make a long story short i told the police dept. my baby daddy abuse my daughter but he really did not.

Shouldnt bail be set according to the degree of the crime? Why is it that sometimes- accused murderers get much lower bails then people accused of middle of the road white collar crimes? It makes not sense to me!

A 16 year old is charged with lewd and lecivious conduct with a girl who called him, asked him to come to her house, her "myspace" said she was 16, she turned out to be 14 at the time. Ten months later he is charged, the juvenile courts say they don't have the resources to handle it and he is now going to be tried as adult with the maximum charge of life in prison facing him. Any suggestions on who to contact for help? Thanks!

back in august of 2006 i was injured while working at a walmart distribution center with 2 hernias! I was checked out by 4 doctors two of which were surgeons and all documented it was confirmed work related. so i continued to work light duty for exactly 60 days while it was going through the workmans comp investigation etc. on the 60th day i was told that my injury was denied because walmart sent the case to a doctor way off in another state and this is a doctor that never even seen me, and he said it was impossible it was work related??? and i had to leave and could only come back when i get the injury fixed! so i immediatly went to an attorney that same day and got a case started against walmart about this and now its been 5 months since i filed for a hearing and still no hearing date in site? how long does this take? how do you think this will pan out in the end? walmart is a very crooked company to work for and they most always pull this crap with most injured employees!

I live in California and rumor has it that there are hidden camera's inside office, kitchen and what-not. I work in the hospitality business, and if this were true im uncertain how constitutional this would be, hidden cameras in the workplace? Spying on unsuspecting workers? Any thoughts?

I have this friend who just turned 18 in January. Her mom is collecting food stamps in her name, her sons name and my friends name. They live with with her husband but she says they live somewhere else in order to collect foodstamps because her husband makes too much money. 20 dollars an hour to be exact! But he won't buy food or anything. Well my friend don't get any food out of the food stamps, cuz they buy food for them only. Her brother is 22 in May and he gets a little money. Well my friend gets SSI and they had to re-evaluate her, she had nothing to do with it, as her mom does things with out her. They didn't even ask to see her, which I thought was awkward. Anyways she gets it again {she only been without it for 2 months} and her mother took all the money and lied to her saying she didn't get anything! Can her mother get reported for this since she is 18 now? She never got anything with her SSI money before she was 18 but now she wants to move out because of the things going on

minorities get treated special? You would figure that by now, we all know we each make our own destiny. All those scholarships could be done with proof of family income... call it a poverty scholarship. They don't have to be reserved for minorities only! Don't you think that there are caucasians in poverty as well? Why is it that a Miss Black America is allowed on TV? Why is it that a company can't just hire who ever is qualified for the job no matter their color? I'm sure we could find a way to proove that a company is predjudice, but, a school? Neighborhoods seem to determine which children are going to be in the schools by who lives in those communities. It just seems to me that the real point to the end of segrigation is lost if we are forced to do it anyway. The government keeps us segrigated! In Other countries, I've seen people asked... they don't say I'm black, or African English! They say, I'm English, or I'm German... So why do people segrigate here if they want equality?

If you call in sick on your job and go to the doctor, your doctor will give you a work excuse if you need one just so you could go back to work. I know that your employer can call your doctor to see if you were in his office on that date but can your boss ask your doctor why you were there? Does your doctor have to answer that question?
