Ordinarily, no, provided that you are an adult and you explicitly state that you do not wish to go. You must also be of sound mind (i.e., the police can force you to go if you are mentally incompetent to make the decision). But there may be other contracts that interfere with this (for example, when you enroll in a summer camp, the enrollment form may say that the camp administration reserves the right to transport you to a hospital if necessary). There might be other exceptions too, not too sure.

In a situation where you you are in police custody, the police may take you to a hospital if they believe it is necessary. This way, it can be said that they provided the opportunity for you to be treated. You then have the right to refuse treatment. If you ain't in custody, the police couldn't make you go to the hospital even if your leg was falling off.

Yes they can but only if they are going to put you in custody. If your vitals are evaluated and you are at risk (blood pressure, temperature, or intoxication level etc.) they can defiantly force you to go to the hospital to be stabilized. They will not be responsible if something happens to you while in their custody. Otherwise the only way they can force you is if you are mentally ill.

Yes. If you've been in an accident you may have hit your head or be in shock and the police can make you go to the hospital if you are unconscious, semi-conscious, obviously badly hurt, or incoherent.

normally the only way they can make you go is if they think you are a danger to yourself or someone else and need a mental evaluation

No, unless you are mentally insane and can hurt yourself or others. In that case, they can only send you for observation.
