I'm going to speak from a Pro-Choice point of view....
anytime a woman terminates a pregnancy....that is abortion..does not matter how long she's been pregnant...
if you are asking when the cut off time for abortion should be....then that's a different question altogether.
scenario number one:
if a woman is pregnant as a result of rape, cut off time should be first trimester...NO LATER. Same thing for regular pregnancy...
If medical reasons arise... such as mothers life is at risk, or there is
severe issues with baby's health, then there should be no time limit.
I don't advocate abortion, just freedom of choice..within the realms which i've mentioned above.

An abortion is the intentional killing of a living human being while that human being is still in his or her mother's body. Every single abortion, regardless of when it is committed or why, kills an innocent human being. Killing innocent human beings is wrong. It's really not complicated.
By the time most women know they are pregnant (just 3 weeks after conception), their baby's heart is already beating. Virtually no abortions are committed before 6 weeks, at which point the baby has tiny fingers and recordable brain waves. At 8 weeks, the child is fully-formed, with all her organs functioning. She can suck her thumb, and if her palm is pricked, she will open her mouth and pull her hand away. The average age of an aborted baby in America is 10 weeks.
Every abortion involves TWO bodies, the baby’s and the mother’s. The baby has separate DNA, separate movements, and separate organs. He may even be a different sex and have a different blood type. Yes, babies in the womb are dependent on their mothers, just like babies outside the womb. Even a newborn will quickly die if left alone. That doesn’t mean anyone has the right to kill her.

I love babies, but I believe everyone should have to right to do whatever the hell he/she wants (within limits, of course) thus, if a woman decides an abortion would be the best option for her life/future, then she has a right to get an abortion... does this mean I don't think she should give motherhood a chance, or choose adoption instead?? no, but she should still have the choice... also, suppose a young teenager is raped, and giving birth to the baby is likely to end her life... also, her parents are so ashamed that she's pregnant (not knowing she was raped, because she was afraid to tell them) that they kicked her out of the house. She has no job, no shelter, no money... should the baby be allowed to come into a world where it will be loathed and where it won't have proper care? or would it be better for it to not live at all than to suffer and perhaps later die of starvation/malnutrition, or have the mother decide she can't take care of it any longer and abandon it (thus having it suffer a lot before it dies) plus, if the mother knows she will probably die in giving birth, is she really going to choose the life of her baby over her own? especially if the baby is the product of a violent rape that stirs up bad memories every time it kicks in the womb?
this is, of course, an extreme worst case scenario, but it provides a few scenarios in which I think a mother should be allowed the chance to abort the child...

I still find it difficult to believe that abortion was ever legalized. The court's decision was based on the privacy issue because they could not come to a conclusion as to when life begins. I find it difficult to reconcile the fact that if a pregnant woman is murdered there are two victims, but when a fetus is aborted, it is a matter of privacy. This sounds ridiculous, but what if the woman was murdered on the way to the abortion clinic?
I feel certain there will be changes in the states laws now that a 21 week fetus has survived. To me abortions should be limited to the first 8 weeks of pregnancy if they are to be legal. Parents should definitely be informed if their daughter is about to get an abortion if she is underage.
I can understand abortion in the case of rape, or to save the life of the mother. Since we do have birth control and the morning-after pill, why are there so many abortions anyway?
I do not believe abortion should be a presidential campaign issue. Neither the president nor congress can overturn the supreme court's decision. Only the courts can do that. People who are against abortion are not forced to have one and many who are pro-choice would not personally get an abortion anymore than a pro-lifer would.
I don't know when life begins either. I find it strange that frozen eggs are being adopted. I don't feel these frozen eggs are alive and the fact is they throw them away after a certain length of time. I don't know how anybody could abort their baby after they have felt it kick.

This is a very "touchy" subject with some people. Though I believe that all different 'types' of abortion is wrong, I believe that when a mother gives birth to a child only half way-then scrambles the brain is WRONG and SICK! Mothers who do that need to have their brain scrambled!! At that point, when the baby is able to live outside of the womb-abortion is the worst thing a woman could do. Give it up for adoption! My cousin can't have children, but wants them really bad-she would have been such a great mother!! When a woman wants an abortion with in the first stage of pregnancy, I think that-that is also a terrible choice! But I think that if your baby is able to live outside your womb-when you kill him or her-It Is MURDER! I believe that if you lay down and get pregnant, you should have to under-go the outcome of your choice-whether it be good or bad! But for those who have killed their child-your little choice will come back and haunt you-as it should!! I don't see anything good about abortion. Some might say that-well at least the baby won't be born into a family that doesn't really love him or her. I say-put your baby up for adoption, if your so tuff that you can kill your child-try to give it away and see how you hold up-when you see your baby look at you, when you hear your baby's first cry, then have them taken from you! People who abort children take the easy way out! They make me sick!

No one is "pro abortion". People are "pro choice" meaning you have the right to chose what you want to do.
It all depends on the individual. Certainly, I would not want to see a termination after about 12 weeks. Having children you cannot afford, do not want and will give away or put you on an endless cycle of welfare is surely not the optimum use of a life.
Personally, I do not believe life begins at conception. The actual embryo does not have a heartbeat for 3 months or so into gestation.
The whole dispute over abortion centers around the rights of women. Why should a woman or girl be expected to go through something as life threatening as pregnancy when they do not wish to be pregnant? I have not mentioned all the health problems women and girls can have that endanger their lives.
Choice is right. If you or a friend of yours should chose not to have an abortion; then it is your right. If you would chose to have one; it is your right.
It is not the right of other people to force you to abide by their religions or moral structures.
It took women of the USA a long time to get abortions legalized so that there would not be anymore murders at the hands of back alley abortionists and now leave the law alone, please.

Abortion is the taking of an innocent life at any time after conception. The multiplying cells cannot become anything but a human if they are of human production. Abortion is not new. There have been abortificants since man realized that certain herbs could cause gross abdominal cramps and autonomic pushing from the cramps. It has always been for the convenience of the aborting mother or father. That is why it is promoted as a form of birth control. One unfortunate outcome is that in modern times - at its inception- Planned Parenthood was the primary proponent of this scheme and one of its main uses was as a genocidal device to eliminate "inferior" types of people. By promoting it as a form of "family planning" many minority women have been duped into believing that this procedure would help them cope with the unfortunate circumstance of an unmarried pregnancy or rape. The fetuses produced were not circumstance, but human potentials; destroyed for the lack of respect of human life as unique and superior to other animals, and plants. If you look at maps of locations of abortion clinics and overlay that with racial demographic maps you'll see that the overwhelming majority of the people in the close proximity of those clinics are still minority and/or impoverished. The genocidal intent is still evident today although the workers at these clinics have no knowledge of the history of the clinics and the woman that encouraged their institution.

What I don't understand is everyone who is "pro-choice" says things like "The child would grow up and have a bad life" "It would stop the cycle of welfare"...
You know what will stop all that...Teaching children when their young to be responsible, encourage school, talk to kids about sex and what it will do to their lives.
This is happening all the time because people think we should have a "choice" ...
Teach children that if they get pregnant that is their "choice" whether they like it or not, encourage adoption for people who are desperate for a child and can't have a child. Instead of killing off innocent children that someone WILL love and support.
Funny how the same people who support knocking off innocent babies..yes babies, 21 days after conception that heart is beating, and brain waves are recorded, and those same people want to "stop welfare" and at the same time encourage illegal immigrants to come to America and get on welfare!!

I think that life is precious and I believe that everyone deserves a chance to live, but when I think of babies born in the slums of Sierra Leone, right now, I wonder whether they would be relieved to have a clean, sterile place to prevent children from being born into this. It does seem like one should ask whether mercy wears shades of self-righteousness (and I am not exempt from that).
