my friend has a newborn son and wants to get sole custody of him. The mother isn't neccessarily unfit but is going through ppd and refuses any help and he feels we would be better off with him. what dos he need to do to gain custody?

How is what Scooter Libby was charged with any different than what Bill Clinton was charged with? Both were charged with perjury and obstruction of justice. (Libby was actually convicted, Clinton was not). Basically, both men lied under oath to a court or investigators. Both men were being investigated for more serious charges when they lied under oath (Clinton- sexual harrasment, Libby- releasing the identity of a covert agent), but there was not enough evidence found on these more serious charges in either case.

I personally just find it amusing that those that supported Clinton vilify Libby and those that vilified Clinton support Libby.

Just wondering if it is illegal to take a picture from someone's web-page and send it to someone in an email? The picture was supposedly copywrited but it had no watermark on it. It was just a regular jpeg of a man standing next to two people. I was not using this picture to make money, nor was the person I sent it to. The person who owned the picture was not using it to make money either. It was just posted on their personal webpage about their life and family. Please help.

of the property line.It has blocked the view of beautiful Mountians I use to be able to see..He didn,t put the fence up on the proper property line.He put portable garage
up and a homemade shed.I was away when he did this!I guess I could have taken Him to court but I didn,t(it,s been up about 5 yrs) thought i might paint sometype of scene-Flowers w/background-

not sure in the legislation regarding this matter. a voluntary sports group for under 14's. can a 15 year old coach them? what about child protection officers? does the 15 year old neeed one for him aswell? can he coach if an adult is present?

I need some advice on a problem that I have. In 01 i had opened an acct w/ my friend (she was the primary, I was the co-signer) at a furniture place. Anyways we paid off the account and CLOSED it. I even checked my credit report to make sure it said "Account closed by consumers request" and it did. Well it's been a long time since I've spoken to my friend and now i am purchasing a house. But what got me was that when my credit got pulled , it said that I opened an acct in 04 (w/ the same furniture place) and not just that but that I had a late payment! I NEVER OPENED AN ACCT w/ that place. I contacted my old friend and she said she had opened a new acct and that she had no idea I was on there. So I contacted the furniture place and and they said they were going to do a complete investigation. I wrote a letter to their Fraud dept and now I am waiting. I want this taken care of ASAP.This girl is affecting my credit andI am in so much stress. What shouldI do?do I wait for them 2contact me

I thought i was getting a bargain, fifteen quid condoms for one pounds fifty, we'd used 8 out of ten of them then i noticed they were 3 months out of date. My girlfriend is REALLY stressed about it as kids are a LONG LONG way away!!!

what are my rights???

surely out of date contraception is just about the worst out of date product you can buy!!!

Boots must have known or else they wouldn't have been on the 'bargain' table!!!

what do people suggest i should do about it???

I don't want to sound like a money grabber but i think mine and my girlfriends emotional distress caused by Boots is worth a financial settlement???

cannabis has been put on this earth by mother nature like other herbs. If some twit had not smoked or ate it,nothing would have happened. There are other herbs out there that have desired effects on the human body. legalese it and tax it . We did in prohabition times. If the streets were full of people smoking pot there less fights and less family splits. ( I am anti drugs )

Has anyone had any experiences with bailiffs, good or bad. What happened was they as nasty as we hear about. I think its daylight robbery and it should be banned.Theres other ways to pay back money rather then have your stuff flogged at an auction.

In October we received a posting on our door stating that as of 11/1/06 the house is foreclosed and auctioned. Is it legal for our landlord to still collect rent from us? We have been paying it but I'm not sure we should be.

...the government permitted seniors to form cooperatives, and import low cost items, like food, clothing, etc. from China and other places, without applying all the prevailing rules & regulations, which make everything costly, and distribute such imported items among themselves? Of course, seniors may have to forego some of the existing legal protections, as it is the rules & regulations that provide these protections.

Will such a move be good to the seniors, especially the ones who live in poverty?

Are criminal records available for the public. Can i get the details on a crime committed, if i am not connected to the crime. Someone i know is on Megan's list and i want to know the details of their crime before completely abandoning my friendship. The status is Rape, with someone unable to give concent. As we were moving out of our place, our landlord had my car towed and impounded by the company his (my landlords) brother works for. His brother did this as a personal favor to him. The impound bill is upto 1200.00! What legal recourse do I have? Where can I go to obtain the proper forms, publications, etc. to get my car back without having to pay this unjust impound bill. Did I mention that we were illegally evicted? And that our landlord stole over 25 thousand dollars of our personal property during this move out?
