It depends where in the world you are, but in the UK this offence carries a maximum penalty of 14 years. Most sentences are a hell of a lot less than this though, and some kind of fine and suspended prison sentence is more likely.

In parts of the USA that operate a "three strikes and you're out" policy then theoretically you could get life. In somewhere like Saudi Arabia or Iran they'd probably start chopping limbs and body parts off!

Depends on what they are worth combined.

If they are over $500.00 it is grand larceny. Under that, petty theft.

Huge difference in sentence and jail time.

I think it is fourteen years, just return the goods and we will say no more, lol.
