I got a new cell phone a couple months ago. Since then I have received numerous picture messages from someone. A few pictures of someone's nose, then I sent a text message saying please don't send me pictures of your nose. Then a few pictures of someone's bathroom and a car dash board. I sent another message asking them to please not send pictures. Now I have been getting blank screens. I called them in the middle of the night and woke them up. In the morning I sent a message saying that I work third shift and am up at night. I will call them in the middle of the night every time they send me a message and I STILL got another one. What recourse do I have. Can I file for harrassment so when they get a summons they know I am serious? I already talked to the Verizon store that sold the phone to me. They sent me to their website to sign up to have them blocked, but they still are coming through and I get charged for each one.

What if I were to set up a corperation with the hidden purpose of gaining government contracts, and using the money I make from it to strategically place government officials. What If I used those government officials to make it easier to gain those contracts without having to be very competitive with the service I provided or the price I provided it at. Then perhaps I offer jobs in my corperation to those officials children or family members and friends so that the politicians have a vested interest in the seccess of my corperation. On top of this I will use the government to spy on those that try to stop me and I will rewrite the laws to make what I am doing legal. Then nothing I do will be illegal because I used the profit of my crimes to rewrite the laws before being caught or prosecuted. On top of that I will set up a government over seas and the when then when It looks like I might get caught I will take all the profit and power and resourses and I will move it to that country.

I am on workman's comp and seem to have gotten food poisoning. I was sick all last night. I was supposed to be there at 8:a.m. but didn't wake up till 10. My boss says that I might be fired. I'm out with two fractured fingers. Now he says "the decision" will have to go to upper management. In the mean time I should obtain a doctors excuse.

I bought a used car from a supposedly reputable dealership, but when they sold it to me, they told me it was a '98, and all their paperwork supported that. However, when I registered it on my own and procured insurance, I found that- according to the vin number- the car is actually a '97. In addition, it has been having a lot of problems, and the most recent problem involves the fuel pump. When the mechanics ordered the pump, it didn't connect to anything else in the area, indicating that the engine in the car is not the engine it is supposed to be. What can I do if they've sold me a car and lied about the year? What about the fact that the engine was rebuilt/overhauled, and they didn't disclose the differences in the engine- selling it to me as the engine that is supposed to be in that make and model and year (even if it is an incorrect year)? Thoughts?

We have extra Jimmy Buffett tickets and if my friend can't go I was planning on putting them on ebay, but a woman that I know told me I can get into trouble if they sell for more than face value... But if you look at ebay, you can buy tickets for Red Sox and Yankee games for sometimes 500 a ticket, when the face value is less than 100. Is this really illeagal or am I misinformed, and if it is how can so many people do it? Do they get into trouble later? Would like any input you can provide thanks

My roommate (who was never on a lease) originally moved in as a subletter from August - January when one of my friends was going to move in. When I brought it up in January that my friend was going to be moving in at the end of the month, my roommate FLIPPED OUT and moved out immediately.

He left some things, but said that he would continue to pay rent until he came and got them. It has been two months since he left. He still hasnt come to get his stuff - and he skipped out on some of our utility bills. We were in contact with him for a few weeks after he left - bugging him every day to come get his stuff, and he would not come over. He stopped responding and it has been at least 6 weeks since we heard from him.

He left a few boxes of clothes and small items, and his TV. Everything but the tv is pretty much worthless. When are we able to sell his TV to offset the costs of the bills and rent and cleaning that he left us to pay?

I just moved into my brand new renovated apartment. I haven't been there for a month yet and it's not in the best area. My apartment itself and the apartment complex is pretty nice. It's cheaper and bigger than my last place which is a plus and it's month to month! Well, now I want to get the hell out of there! Yesterday when I came home from shopping for my new apartment... I noticed there were a bunch of police around the apartment complex. I didn't think anything of it...maybe someone got into a fight or got hurt well, as I looked out window I saw a few cops at the unit across from me and a crime scene examiner wearing gloves. I was like "Oh, ****...I hope no one got hurt". I was being nosey and as I looked out my window....(litterally 12 feet away) I see them taking out a dead body in a white body bag. I could see the shape of the body pretty clear. I couldn't believe my eyes! I screamed out loud! Now I am afraid to be alone and feel uncomfortable in my new apartment. Help!

Debbie Melnyk and Rick Caine tried to do a documentary of their own about Michael Moore and ran into the same sort of resistance Moore himself famously faces in his own films.

The result is "Manufacturing Dissent," which turns the camera on the confrontational documentarian and examines some of his methods. Among their revelations in the movie, which had its world premiere Saturday night at the South by Southwest film festival: That Moore actually did speak with then-General Motors chairman Roger Smith, the evasive subject of his 1989 debut "Roger & Me," but chose to withhold that footage from the final cut.

I feel like I am missing the point! Can someone explain to me why the government think that charging us more money will help the environment. How is conjestion charges or paying by the mile to drive going to benefit the ozone? Surely it would make more sense to penalize the fuel companies to force them to go green. It makes me laugh because you always hear advise about using public transport to get to work etc... yet you never see Old Tony B on the number 47 with his return ticket to Downing street?

My ex-bf moved out 18 mos ago. He left a lot of stuff (clothes, personal pics, computer parts, CDs/DVDs), etc. I asked him many times to come get the stuff and, of course, he never did. Now, some stuff has been intergrated into my own belongings (DVDs, computer components) and frankly, I can't remember everything that's his or mine or what. He said that he wants to come over and look around to reclaim his stuff. No way I'm letting him poke around my apartment to see what he wants back! I'm more than happy to box up his personal items and drop them off to him. Everything else, I feel has been abandoned. I have been storing his stuff free of charge for 18 mos. Is there a legal time limit to this? I called the court and they said to call a lawyer. I don't have a lawyer and can't afford one. Anyone have experience with this? I'm in Massachusetts by the way. Thanks!

My aunt was sent a letter in the mail . saying she won something and to cash the check and send a certain amount back and keep a portion. Ok so she cashed it . ( iswear sometimes i wonder how she is still alive)

And lets just say things went down hill from there. The currency exchange she cashed it at made a deal with her to pay back a 100 dollars a month till she is able to pay them off. My aunt is on disabilaty and this is really messing up her living situation. Is there a way to report this or something so she wont have to pay this back. I mean she is just lucky these people have known her forever and did not prosecute. but these lottery scams are taking advantage of the poor and disabled that find themselves in a crunch and dont know any better .

what can my aunt do know?
