I got a new cell phone a couple months ago. Since then I have received numerous picture messages from someone. A few pictures of someone's nose, then I sent a text message saying please don't send me pictures of your nose. Then a few pictures of someone's bathroom and a car dash board. I sent another message asking them to please not send pictures. Now I have been getting blank screens. I called them in the middle of the night and woke them up. In the morning I sent a message saying that I work third shift and am up at night. I will call them in the middle of the night every time they send me a message and I STILL got another one. What recourse do I have. Can I file for harrassment so when they get a summons they know I am serious? I already talked to the Verizon store that sold the phone to me. They sent me to their website to sign up to have them blocked, but they still are coming through and I get charged for each one.

Take the fight back to Verizon. But they're idiots, so you might not get the relief you're requesting.

Some cell phones allow you to block certain phone numbers and email addresses. Contact Verizon to see how you can block picture messages and other messages from this particular user.

If there is more than one person, you could consider changing the setting with Verizon to block all text and/or picture messages. Maybe Verizon can block all incoming calls and messages from a phone number.

Another solution is to change your phone number. If none of these solutions work for you, and you don't want to change your number, then just deal with this extra aggravation. If you don't want to change your number than it appears that you just want to complain about the situation instead of fixing the problem.
