Yeah. Some person parked in front of my driveway/garage.

Honked like a mad man and no one came.(Even though a neighbor told me it was the person standing outside before.) Then proceeds to tell me that they do it all the time when were out of the house.

Writing a note probably wont stop them since they are parking in front of a garage and not just a driveway. So who would i call? and would the police (if i call them) do anything about it?

and since it is "my property" i could do that right?

Location is Brooklyn, NY

They spent 15 months in prison for something they didn't do!
They were accused feeding this child salt. But some believe it is virtually impossible for a person to die from excess salt unless they have a condition preventing the expulsion of excess salt. If a person drinks too much salt water, they will usually throw it up (like in the movie "Casino Royal") But some people lack the ability to dispose of even normal amounts of salt. Potato chips are poisonous to these people! It appears the little boy had this condition.

I got pulled over & was given a ticket.
I went to court, & they told me to pay the $125 penalty & plead guilty or go to traffic school & pay $116.
I told them I wanted to contest the ticket so I'm scheduled to go back to court next month.
Even if I was going 2 miles above the speed limit, I think that it's ridiculous to get one for that...

Why would a father give up parental rights to a stepfather and my mother? They obviously filed a petition, but they didn't ask him to do anything - he did it with no objections whatsoever. He went to prison for most of my young life (white-collar drug crime) and I had to see alot of child therapists to cope. He wrote me and sent videotapes of him all the time, so it's not like he was wanting to get rid of me. I don't think he knew what to do with me once he got out, so he just signed the papers.

It's been bothering me and I'd very much like to contact him. I'm only 16, but my parents are very supportive of it if I'd want to. I'm afraid of the rejection. Do you think he'd want to and why would he give up the rights in the first place?

the players by fining them everytime one of them or the coaches critizizes the officials or league management? It is a slap in the face of all those who have fought and died now and in past wars protecting our constitutional rights, and David Stern is violating the one we all hold dearly, freedom of speech and expression.

I don't think so but I'm shooting this question out anyway. Do you think Machiavelli's philosophy has any application in U.S. law (both state and federal)?

And do you think future lawyers should read Machiavelli?

when is it too late to appeal holding a new civil trial?
is it possible to prevent new evidence be allowed into the new trial?
if the judge decided he didn't need to hear my testimony to make his decision in my favor, why is he allowing the opposing party to start over, instead of allowing for more time?

Please explain to me why pot is soooooo bad but cigarettes and liquor aren't. What does pot do thats so much worse than the other two?

Should we get it legalized and ban ciggies instead.

I'm curious to see how people view this drug.

If a mother wants a father to pay child support, even though the father takes care of the kid, if she's just a gold digger and wants his money, does the father have the right to get a DNA test done to prove he's the father?even if his name is on the birth certificate? and I was told dna tests were done for free when the baby is first born, if this is true, can it be done without the mother of the child's consent?

Long story short, I got drunk and bought my brothers friends who are 17 a twelve pack against my gut instinct. One kid got caught by their parents and they told everything. I apologized to the parents but they said they were still calling the police and telling the other parents everything as well. I’m worried out of my mind because I’ve never been in trouble before and don't have the money to pay for a fine. I'm very open to advice, and curious to what consequences I can be looking at. I feel bad enough already so I don't need lectured please.

My past girlfriend had an abortion. She claims the child wasn't mine but refused a DNA test. I am currently a teacher working in a low income school district. Most of my female students are either pregnent or either have children of their own. These children have real reasons for not having children at this time in their life. I on the other hand am capable of raising a child and by no means would accept an abortion. I am finding it hard to teach as I am constently reminded of the abortion. Many times I have left the classroom to throw-up in the restroom. This abortion has effected me emotionally and mentally. Can I sue?

I support the legality of abortion, but not without feeling conflicted. I think that a fetus is a human being and that it has a right to live. The only reason I support it is because it will happen no matter what, and I think it's important to have it done safely and legally. So tell me some good justifications for abortion.

I have court on monday. Some one said I was handing out and taking pills at school. They searched me my locker and my stuff and found nothing. All they have is staments from people who claim they took them. They don't even have pills from these people ether. But the school and resource officer says that because of the students staments its enough to take me to Court. They are taking me to court for posession, handling, and distrubution(sp). They cant even find anything on cameras showing me handing something to some one.

BUT I DIDNT DO IT I SWEAR

I understand the purpose of the Geneva convention.

Powel for example explains it very well. However, Al Quada most clearly does not abide by it. So why should we expect the US to?

I do have some concerns about jailing innocents but if one has proof that one they are combattants, why does the US have to respect them at all?
