If the man's daughters feel that the caretaker took advantage of him, they can contact a lawyer and contest the will.

or the caretaker took such good care and the daughters never came around and he wanted to give her something.

But yes it does sound that way, and time to get a probate attorney and dispute the will.

while you will need an attorney, you must ask - how often in those last three years of his life did the daughters visit and care for him? he may very well have felt this caregiver was the only one that really cared in the end.
