compared to other developed nations why our government is not giving our footpath a facelift beautify it and keep enough litterbaskets with cover and strict penalties to offenders those who misuse it? why they always let violators carry on their business on footpaths and turning a blind eye on common men's voice? why the parking facilities are not given like token polls like europe USA like if some one parks his vehicle put money according to the time they park their vehicle and that money is used in taking care of the parking lots?why some local contractor with the blessings of corporator conducts business in some places the local dada employ a man with paltry payment collects the money and vanish with the help of local law protecters u know them !!!with stick in hand but always attend late at the scene!!!the wireless van will be present near the hawkers, panwallas, pireted c.d,v.c.d sellers, narial paniwallas, sugarcane juice vendors, bajiwalas(they occupy a bigger place of footpaths) ???

I recently moved out of a unit in Munich, Germany and my landlord deducted the equivalent of US$200 from my US$1200 rental bond.
She claimed that the bathtub and bath tiles were dirty and her 'effort' to clean them up amounted to $200
On the day I left, she came over to show a new tennant around and did not mention anything about the cleanliness of the bathroom.
I was only in the apartment for 3 months, and in my opinion everything was extremly clean and in the same condition that I originally received it in, and definately able to be re-rented to a new tennant without any problems.

I found out about this 3 weeks after I had moved out, as I received an email from her. I advised her that she should have told me that she wasn't happy with the state of the bathroom earlier, and that I would have gotton someone to clean it up.

Does anyone know if she has the right to charge me this under German rent law, and where I could turn to for help. I am back in Australia now.

Recently in a TNHB Tamil nadu Govt.land acquistion case appeal in supreme court, the court gave verdict as," Any land can be acquired for no valid reason and yet can be sold out in open market according to the prevailing market rate". This verdict was given against the prior judgement given by the Chennai High court against the attitude of TNHB acquisition of land from some 40 poor people, and not been utilised for more than 22 years for the said cause. Chennai High court gave judgement and good justice for the poor people and slashed in the face of TNHB board members. Wheras, the Supreme Court says, once the land is acquired it belongs to Govt. and the aim can never be questioned and the said land can again be sold in the open market!!
Oh! My Mother India!!

Where we are heading?
Tomorrow your house and mine and our children's hard-earned money can be vanished in a single note of "land acquisition in so-and-so survey numbers" for the utilisation of some Govt.project?

I'm moving to another state with my daughter. I have sole Physical legal custody of her. Her father has made no attempt to pay support or see her or even call to see how she's doing in about 3 years. The court has already given me permission to move with my daughter. I cant find in my final divorce decree any where that says that I have to notify him of the move. My question is.... Am I required to notify him of the move? and if so do I have to do it with in a specific time period? Please don't criticize me or throw up the "fathers have rights" crap in my face, I have made every attempt to talk to him about our daughter and all he seems to talk about is how he cant afford the support ( the whole $90 a week that it is ) because he's also paying support for 2 other children. Like I have said he has made ZERO attempt to inquire about the general well being of our child. He never wants to talk to her and has recently changed his address, phone # and e-mail address.
Thank you

I dont hate america so I hope to not get answers that would imply that. I just think that sometimes it seems that the US puts its needs ahead all other countries. Not always and yes I do realize that the US is a major contributor of foreign aid.

as a specific example I put forth all the conflicts for oil. the US fights fervently for oil but it does not fight for the people in Darfur who have nothing to offer except themselves.

I think that people in the US should think of people of other places as equal to themselves.

I, for one, am not a pervert who needs to buy a prostitute's time in order to have sex. I happen to have a wonderful lover who I am deeply in love with. But prostitution is something that troubles me deeply, especially in the case of children and teenagers.
It happens to be a hobby of one of my friends to pick up young hookers and, rather than sleeping with them, pay them for talking to him. He has helped many girls in this manner. However, I worry frequently about whether or not he can get in trouble for doing this, not with the girls' "pimps" but with the police.
I would like to join in with this practice and help the best that I can, but before I do and possibly risk jail time, I want to know- Is it illegal to pick up a hooker and pay her? Or is it only illegal to pick her up and pay for sexual activity?

Where would I go to find out what the laws for detaining a person is... in the state of Texas...
I know someone who is facing extradiction from the state of Colorado... this person (a woman) is afraid to be brought back to the state of texas... (due to the fact that last time she was in the county jail facility in a very rural/small county in texas... she was raped, beaten, and worse)...
Could someone point me to a website containing the detention codes, penal codes, and other things of the sort... for the state of Texas...
Thanks...
