I live in FL. Was hired in Nov under the premise that I would work full time from 4pm-12am. Once hired, was placed at a post, but when some of my paperwork did not go through, they removed me from the post until issue was fixed, which was 3 days later. They gave my position to someone else, and then placed me at another post. A month later, they removed me from that post and then cut my hrs to 20/week and are now unwilling to add more hrs. I have no medical insurance, they still have not instituted direct deposit (after 4 mos), and I have a family to raise, so this situation is a nightmare. Is there any legal recourse I can take with this company? FL is a right to work state, so I know that seeking legal action (if any) would be difficult. Is there anything I can do? Is what they are doing legal? Thanks for any help/feedback you can provide.

Today it appears the USA braggs about another tortured Muslim who "admitted" he caused another terror target to be hit. I hope someone is video taping the "hearings" when these men are being harmed. Will the world court of justice try and convict the USA for its illegal and unethical behavior?

Every Sunday, The Binghamton Press publishes the new troop deaths within a one hundred mile radius of Binghamton in their paper. Every Sunday there are 10-20 listings.

At that rate, at least half of the 3000 U.S. troop deaths came from that region.

Is it legal for a collection agency to place a garnishment on a checking account without prior notification and totally take your entire paycheck? They did win a judgement against me and then without notice took my entire wages out of my account. What are my options?

Hi, I live in Scotland, UK. My father passed away last year, and recently the local authority has been sending an oustanding bill to recover an overpayment made by them towards his welfare benefits as he was disabled. This has been going on for a few months. Now, the local authority is sendign these same reminders to my mum, and threatenign that they will take leagl action to recover the debt. The thing is my mother lives with me (i own the house) and has signed a trust deed to protect her against bankruptcy. At the time of my father's death, he had also signed a protected trust deed.

Given all the evidence, can the local authority still take action against my mum, and more importantly can they take action against me to recover the debt which runs into thousands of pounds due to the local authrities incompetence.

Please help, I fear that I may lose my house over this and end up on the street. What will happen to my young family?

the father of my children works for cash to avoid paying his child support. For the past two years the attorney general's office has tried to serve him papers for enforcement. Which he has avoided. He has recently had different people contact me to drop the child support. He and his wife had both had my children to ask me to drop the child support. I recently had to contact the police because there had been threats. they mentioned to my oldest about getting rid of me. i'm lucky if he pays 20 dollars once every 3 to 6 months. I provide medical and dental insurance and i have to pay all out of pocket expenses. He owes over 30,000 in child support. I even contacted one of those support kids and they haven't done anything. when he does see his kids he doesn't buy anything. I buy my kids clothes and shoes. I've been supporting my children on my own. i'm a single mother and because I work i don't qualify for any assistance. He's avoided paying child support and providing any medical support

My husband wants to adopt my 14 year old son, his biological father is all for it too. We really do not have the 4000 dollars to pay an attorney. I have heard of people doing it themselves. Can anyone tell me how this is done, and what we have to do to get started on it? The state we live in is Louisiana.
Thanks!!

The truth is that, regardless of what the people might decide through their votes, the final sayso is in the hands of the electoral college. Our government is controlled by special interest groups and our decisions are made for us. 200 years ago our founding forefathers would have been enraged. What can we do though while everyone is struggling to survive in a country where money makes all the decisions?

The death rate rises and the criminals have no fear of the law, and prison has become a soft option instead of a deterrent.

Is it time to boot the liberal elite out on their backsides, and make criminals live in fear instead the lawabiding citizens.

And before anyone asks, yes I would pull the lever.

Can two parents who agree on custody arrangements have the custody agreement drawn up and legally finalized by a laywer WITHOUT having to go to court?
If so, how long would it take?
The parents are not currently married (to each other or anyone else) so there is no divorce proceedings to complete. They are just looking to get a custody agreement done and legalized without the court costs and ridiculous expense of court.
Can this be done? If so, HOW??

The Royal British Legion is unable to assist wounded or ill troops, because the MOD claims they are prvented to passing on a serviceman's details, by the Data Protection Act.

Meanwhile another government department, the DVLA, is brazenly selling drivers' details to car parking firms, even having been warned that such actions could be unlawful.

Could it be that the Treasury (Gordon Brown) is trying to keep compensation claims from our wounded ex-servicemen to the minimum?
