Okay kid. I answered your other question without knowing this happened in your school.
What I'm going to tell you here is not politically correct. It could lead to further problems (although most likely it won't). In today's society they are much more against this approach than when I was a kid, So be warned.
This is what I would have done (and have done) when I was a kid and this kind of thing happened to me: I find out where the other kid goes. I wait for him where there is no chance of witnesses...and I beat the crap out of him to teach him he messed with the wrong person. You don't want to really hurt him or anything, just a knock-down, maybe fat lip...that kind of thing.

You can press charges. Back when I was in school, I would have retaliated more violently, but this is a different time. We live in a society that sues. I bet if you retaliated he would sue you. I say press charges and maybe, when his parents have to pay $ for his actions, he will never do it again. GL

If you sue, your school has the right to take action, it could become a big mess because they are responsible for your safety so it would be a state issue. Take it up with your parents and their lawyer, but he will probably advise you against it because its a hard case to win, the kid blames the school, the school blames the kid and you lose money on the lawyer.
