The death rate rises and the criminals have no fear of the law, and prison has become a soft option instead of a deterrent.

Is it time to boot the liberal elite out on their backsides, and make criminals live in fear instead the lawabiding citizens.

And before anyone asks, yes I would pull the lever.

There have been too many miscarriages of justice to justify bringing back the death penalty.

What they should do is a complete overhaul of the judicial system with severe set penalties.

The reintroduction of the old style borstal for 16-21s where breakfast is at 5.30a.m and everything is done in double time, no T.V or entertainment and visits once a month.

Prison should mean punishment therefore no time off for good behaviour for the most serious of crimes, no T.V's stereos, Nude magazines,Money, clothes, trainers to be sent in by families and friends, No cookers in each landing. No Gym.

Every prisoner to be treated the same therefor the numbers or Rule 43 should be abolished in England as this has been abused for years.

I remember seeing a prison menu for Christmas Day, it was exotic in comparison to the O.A.Ps who are forced to eat Heinz toddler food and cut down on central heating because they can't afford proper food or heating.

One thing that should be stopped immediately is the addressing peodophiles as "Sir" by the guards and the con's by their surname.

I have just put an answer on the system concerning Prof Meadows and hid 'Expert Evidence' that convicted a solicitor of Murder of a child. 'What a travesty', I hear you say when you find out that his evidence has been discredited 3 years later.

NO, I'm afraid I cannot see that taking a 'murderer's' life could be a correct judgement in all cases. Even one person convicted wrongly is one too many.

YES, I do believe that no amount of short sentencing should be allowed. There should be ample time for appeals against conviction and/or sentence but on no account should the convicted person be released whether they have repented or not. If the Judge says 'Life' it should mean that no parole is possible and the person dies in Prison and is buried with the walls.

A recent case review concluded that a man convicted of the murder of two schoolchildren must serve his sentence to his death. I have no hesitation in agreeing with this opinion.

Yes, bring back the death penalty. I dont want my taxes to go on these murderers and paedophiles to have a luxurious life in prison, whilst im 'going without' to pay for them. Get rid of them.
As for petty criminals, they should all be made to do National Service.

ME TWOO!! The problem is... we are SUPPOSED to keel them, but the libtards in govt won't let it happen! And the libtards who vote for the ... don't have the ....... waddya call em? OH YEAH! KNOWLEDGE to know WHO to vote for. So.. the squeeky wheel once again gets....

OMG! I feel another 'report' coming on............ YIKES! WHY is it always me?? WHAT about reporting somebody else who has an 'opinion'??

Something I heard from a death row prisoner one time, regarding "They MIGHT be innocent". Maybe 'they' were innocent of this particular crime, but they are not 'innocent'. They just got CAUGHT, finally! Nobody has EVER got caught for molestation or rape or robbery for the FIRST time, it's just the FIRST time they got caught!

Prove it wrong!

nicely, when you consider that there is not any close to on the spot technique of killing a human different than beheading, i'm undecided what your plan is. there is likewise very virtually NO technique of ensuring guilt, except the homicide is achieved in public with countless eye witnesses and the homicide is caught in the act. and then of direction, there is the reasonable information which you would be able to nevertheless very surely argue that all and sundry who DOES commit homicide in this sort of trend is fairly for sure mentally unwell. No, there are in basic terms too many hindrances to a loss of life penalty it is honest, precise, and not merciless.

they have the death sentence in america and the crime rate is still high in they states so while i believe an eye for an eye and yes the death sentence would be a deterrent for the majority of people what about the innocent people that would be given it. whatwe need to do is look at a country with low crimemurder numbers and see how they manage it and follow by example.

Yes If the evidence is 100% then I believe they should be executed definately. Murderers, rapists, paedophiles etc. the lot of them! Perhaps if they were all killed off then potential murderers would think twice about it in the future.

Not to mention that it would solve the prison problems!

Yes to everything you say, the vast majority of people are sick and fed up with lenient sentences being handed out by the courts to the scum who are laughing at us.

I see your point, but I think it's a morality issue. You also have to remember that statistics claim that at least 1 out of 9 people on Death row are actually innocent.
