If so, state reason such as an alternate source of income for the government when regulated or that it would prevent low-level offenders from being placed in jail, costing more money, and turning into hardened criminals. How many people ever OD or killed someone after smoking up anyway....

let's say a 17 year old decided to runaway. The parents put out a search for him/ her, but they have no luck. What happens when he/ she turns 18? Will he/she still be in any sort of legal trouble for breaking the law at 17? When one turns 18, will they be able to get job or leave the country?

*how would a warrant be cleared? Would someone have to ask for it, or would it be done automatically?

We have recently moved into a new house and know that a covenant exists to stop businesses being run from houses on the estate. However, our neighbour who has been there for about 7 years is a book distributor and employs people to collect and deliver books. They arrive daily in transit vans with a large lorry delivering stock on a weekly basis. The books are stored in his garage and the owner is outside loading/unloading/sorting orders etc anytime from about 7.30am to 11pm including sundays. His employees are there every morning in the week till about 9.15am and often return around 3.30 to unload for an hour or so. We are getting fed up with all the coming and going and know that what he is doing is wrong but don't know whether to enforce the covenant or notify the council as I am sure he won't have planning permission or paying business rates. Anyone got any advice.

There is no mention of separation of church and state in the bill of rights or the constitution. The closest thing is an agreement to not ban churches nor to force folks into a church. Why do folks keep citeing a non existant rule?

This policy had been criticized by many goverment and non-goverment organizations and also the church. This caused a lot of things to the family. Please include about your view in "Little Emperor syndrome" and the "discrimination to girls".
Thanks a lot. ;-)

And, remember that Willie did NOT legalize pot when he had control of the House and Senate in 1993 and 1994.

Are Libs intelligent enough to understand this and only quit yakking about Bush?

A mother of 3 was was convicted of throwing a McDonalds cup filled with ice at a car that had cut her off in traffic. She is due to be sentenced today-she could receive up to two years in prison. She was convicted of "propelling a missile".
This is not a joke people-i cant make this kind of stuff up.
Granted, she has problems with road rage it sounds. But a cup of ice? Convicting her of a felony? Prison?
How about a nice heavy fine for littering instead?

Your thoughts. Is this extreme, or is this justice?

Expose Liberals answered another question by saying "Liberals like Al Gore want to control what you can buy. George W. Bush and other conservatives believe in a free market, if an adult wants to buy ......... then they should be able to. We don't need a liberal Democrat nanny state. " And his fellow Conservatives whole-heartedly agree.

So I ask you, why is marijuana against the law? And why does the Bush Administration stand diametrically opposed to individual States legalizing marijuana? What about State's Rights? Has the Republican Party caved into Religious Extremists? Is today's Conservativism really about legislating Jesus rather than traditional conservative values?

Why don't statements like the quote above by apply to marijuana? Why does it seem as though we're actually living in a Republican nanny state? Can someone please explain the hypocrisy? Please?

I feel that those of us ‘common people’ (by this I mean those of us who are not the ‘fat cats’ or the ‘big players’) are being taken advantage of. For example I feel that the government make decisions and implement them whether ‘we’ like it or not. They bully us with fines and cameras while not providing us with value for money while prices continue to rise. They can increase the congestion charge however much they like, yea they’ll receive scrutiny but the price will still rise anyway.

Lately I heard that certain banks are planning on charging customers for keeping their money in the bank! I didn’t hear the full story properly as it was on the radio but I think this is very unfair. One of the free things we have here (UK) is banking and the big bosses have spotted a new way to make extra cash.

Do our opinions matter?

What’s next?
