I've asked this question before and everyone said no, that's totally illegal. But I need to know how you KNOW this. I need proof, where is it written? Which law is it? Which sub section? I've tried searching the age equality act and licensing laws and I can't find it anywhere. Thanks X

we arrive to society and culture where almost every person so desperate need to be right and truthfull. However, in such pursue of righteriousness, so many people make harsh and evil deeds just to prove their right. For example, such people insult others, fight with them, disturb, blame, hate and even attack them just to prove that they are 'doing the justice'.
why do not we all agree that noone possess the whole justice in their hands?

Consider scenario - Elderly person, no relaitves, sick in the hospital, or in an Assisted Living Centre.
Along comes Joe/Jane Blogg, who having hunted for such a person, fills out a few forms, goes before a Judge bogged down with caseloads, with an emergency motion, then emerges from the Court a fully licenced Conservator (?) with the ABSOLUTE power over that vulnerable elderly person - the power over his/her bank accounts, Estate etc.
It's irrespective whether the vulnerable person KNOWS this person authorised by the Court.

That Judge has effectively allowed this person to spend that vulnerable persons' money, and have COMPLETE CONTROL over a complete strangers' life during what is a very vulnerable time.. and as we all KNOW, there are some "wrong 'uns" out there people.

What re-dress do the innocent have should a worst case scenario occur, and all the Estate is decimated by an unscrupuless individual out for a quick, easy buck?

Up until recently, I was working in two jobs to save money. I finished the first job about 4 weeks ago and the 2nd about a week and a half ago. Yesterday, I received a text asking me to call someone asap. Thinking it was someone from the 1st job, and having no credit, I got them to phone me. But it was someone from my second job who I hadn't given my number out to. He was basically saying that he wanted to be mates with me and meet up etc - not looking for a date though. I just found it odd and out of the blue. I contacted the department I worked in and they said they hadn't given my number out to anyone (I asked them not to). When I got off the phone, I had a text from this guy saying that he had got the number from the company and that he could get into trouble if found out and that he was sorry. That leads me to the conclusion that he had gone into my personal file to get my details, which makes me feel very violated.

Please wait for additional information before answering.

I keep hearing that the marriage laws shouldn't discriminate against two people who love each other, and that marriage is not primarily for procreation. So, is this the next step?

FYI, there was a news story on ABC about this last night - which is the source of the question.

He is wrongfully kicked out of his home, but is still very much dependent on his guardians?
Is the law on his side?
He has nowhere to go but a friend's house for the time being. He's working, but all the money earned is to put himself through college.

Is there anyway he can fight to get back into his home?

This morning, i turned in my assistant manager for defrauding the social security administration. I also turned in her daughter for allowing her to do this. . My assistant manager is 60 years old, and she draws a social security disability check. Well, She was punching in and punching out on her daughters timecard, so she don't have to report her wages to the SSA. I'm honestly afraid when they find out, i will get fired. I know i probably shouldn't have done it, but i was afraid that if the SSA would've found out later, and then asked me about it, i would've gotten into trouble for not reporting it right away. I do have proof that she was doing this, because i did make copies of the schedule, and both time cards that was used. Can someone please help?

there is this person who has overstayed her visa since 2004 and has got herself some fake documents with a fake name which she is working with.she managed to open a current bank account with those fake documents, with the intentions of absconding when offered a big loan.surprisingly i reported the matter to the bank branch manager but the person is still using the accounts.i reported to the police who took every details they needed,i reported to the immigration who held me on the phone for over twenty minutes for every information, yet nothing has been done.this has been over 8 months now.i am 100% sure of the status of this person and have enough evidence to prove it.
i wonder if there is a time frame within which such things are dealt with.i am baffled because i thought it was an information which will be of interest and dealt with immediately to prevent the tax payer from loosing money through fraudulent deals.8 months is too much to act,i think,or is there a time frame?

All crimes are specific acts against another party. Hate is a subjective term.

I am a high-school student and I'm in a class about web designing and while working in Adobe/Macromedia Flash and I re-created a scene from South Park which shows the four boys at the bus stop and my teacher says i can't use these images because they are infringing copyright laws. I know that she's completely wrong and stupid for saying such a dumb thing, but can someone point me to a credible source that clearly shows that I am not, in fact, infringing copyrights.

You or your wife (if you're a guy) were expecting a child and found out that the baby you were going to have was going to be born with complications such as severe autism, down syndrome, or some other debilitating disease that would require your 110% dedication and care since the child wouldn't grow up able to take care of itself. Your financial situation is barely able to afford your little apartment and a "normal" baby and you options are...
--grin a bear it, rely on foodstamps and making hubby work super long shifts to be able to afford treatments and taking care of your child well into your senior years, giving custody up once you get too old...
--hope someone is willing to adopt your special child and put faith in the adoption system in finding a suitable family...
--abort and simply keep the child from living a life of suffering and doubt while knowing God can do better than you...
--or...? How would you handle a situation like that? Sensitive, but its something to consider.
