I suspect the executor of an estate I am beneficary of has squandered cash. Its been over a year since the 'death' and the estate has not progressed much. A few filings with the City, a prepaid tax bill and NO INVENTORY. What are my options as a beneficiary? How long do I have to contest the will. NO, a LAWYER is not the executor.

who are unfortunate enough to have to go into hospital for more than, say, a week not contribute the money they would normally spend on food (only) to the hospital or relevant NHS Trust? After all, they can't eat both at home & in hospital.

Yesterday my husband totaled my car and he received 2 citations, one for careless driving and one for no proof of insurance because there was none...and again I don't need no insuarnce lectures, we have our reasons and are kicking ourselves enough as it is. This is the story..My husband was driving on the highway in the middle of 3 lanes, he switched to the far left lane while and SUV pulled along side of him to the right, he lost control and hit the SUV on the right but when he corrected...he over corrected and swerved back over to the SUV which then spun him around 360 degrees, once he stopped spinning he was facing in the correct ddirection to drive and was moving forward when a School Bus then hit him from behind. I arrived to the scene to find that the bus driver was rushed to the hospital because of pain to the neck and back. I saw no indication on the road (skid marks) of where the bus driver tried to stop from hitting my husband. My car is totaled and damagae is (continued)

I bought a house in September and I renew my apartment lease in June of the same year not knowing that we were getting the house. Now I have a couple with 5 kids subletting my apart. because we didn't want to pay a fine to the company because we were leaving before the lease lapsed and the people haven't pay rent since October. We had paid the rent for them because they promised to pay, but we have run out of money. We were paying for the house and the apart. Now I have asked them to pay me the money 'cause they got their taxes and they only gave me one months rent. I have a lease that I made them sign and I think I have everything legal. We are working two jobs and the people in our apartment, the husband is the only one that is working. I need a lawyer that helps me for free 'cause am broke. Is a really difficult situation and I think they have done this before.

I paid £300 pounds as a refundable security deposit for a job. As I was unable to join in that job I asked the employer to give me back money. He gave me an account payee cheque which was rejected, the reason written was "refer to the account onwer". He again gave me another cheque which was rejected by the reason "account has closed" . I tried to contact the person and he is playing some game, he is not attending my calls and whenever I go to his shop to see him, the staff says that he is not there. Its been 1 month since I am struggling with this. What I could do legally to get my money back. I have the bank letters mentioning the cheque dissaproval and the 2nd cheque with me. I am an international student in UK.

Do you think that once you pay for a cell phone (full price or one off of contract) that you have exclusive rights to the equipment? If not please tell me why.

To summarise: T-mobile's unlocking policies are as follows: They will unlock a phone for a customer after 90 days on the contract. Yet they can immediatly cancel their contract, pay the fee and walk away with a $300 to $400 phone and they only paid the Early Term fee.
Yet I pay for a phone whose contract ran out and they won't give me the unlock codes for it.

P.S. Yes I'm whining, but it makes no sense to me

Our son has pleaded not guilty on an altercation at school. He received a ticket and now we go to court. Another student had kicked him in the private area and slapped him and he pushed the person off of him. He said they were going to kick him again so he pushed them off of him. What kind of lawyer do we need to defend him? We do have a witness that can help.

People complain about so many problems with their life but if we didn't have these problems there would be nothing for us to do... many celebrities go insane for this reason. They have money, fame etc... but their life feels so empty.

Ted Haggard, America's leading Christian-right figures and Bush's top political aid in the ban against gay marriage, turns out to be a raging homosexual (and drug abuser). And we have all heard about priests molesting small boys.

Is the Christian-right full of closet homosexuals?
