Do you think that once you pay for a cell phone (full price or one off of contract) that you have exclusive rights to the equipment? If not please tell me why.

To summarise: T-mobile's unlocking policies are as follows: They will unlock a phone for a customer after 90 days on the contract. Yet they can immediatly cancel their contract, pay the fee and walk away with a $300 to $400 phone and they only paid the Early Term fee.
Yet I pay for a phone whose contract ran out and they won't give me the unlock codes for it.

P.S. Yes I'm whining, but it makes no sense to me

Sorry, but I understand. This is a straight forward case of Capitalism.

See, your contract ran out (if I am understanding your info correctly). They want you under new contract with them. If you will not re-up with them, they aren't going to allow you to have a free phone and use it with someone else (like their direct competitor).

Personally, I have no issue like that with Sprint. I would change companies if I were you. . .

Unlocked cellular telephones are telephones which would be utilized with any provider provider. so as which you at the instant are not limited to having a freelance with a definite provider provider in case you want a definite telephone. generally, once you purchase cellular telephones out of your provider provider, it rather is in all risk that it rather is locked, so as which you won't be able to deliver that telephone to a various provider provider. i desire that enables a splash. Have a large day.
