If she has half a brain she'll now sue you and treat her baby to some nice toys; firing someone for being pregnant is not only morally wrong, it's illegal and litigious.
I'm a managing director and I always treat others as I would expect to be treated. My staff are amazingly productive and we all get on well. My company turns over in excess of US$45 000 000 pa which isn't bad for 10 employees. Why do you feel you need to act like you do?
I had a boss like you when I was 20 and working at a bank. He's still there and the bank still offers poor service. Managers like you eventually get rooted out by people like me and sent on their way. You'll be discovered soon enough.

She is gonna have one of the most expensive prams to push around with all your money. You dropped a major one doing that. She is more protected now that she is pregnant than when she was not. As for the pregnancy test thing, grow up, don't you have a mother.

Not only is it illegal to offer your female employees pregnancy tests, it is illegal to sack them also. You are in trouble I would think.
It's an invasion of privacy. Who do you think you are? God. Mwahahahahahaha I think not.

Hi Trevor,
What you have done constitutes automatic unfair dismissal no matter how long she worked for you.
I suggest you review your decision or it will cost you a lot of money in an industrial tribunal.
