what punishment will i recieve if it is my first offense? will it go on my record? will it affect my college transfer? is there any way to get it off of my record if it goes onto it?

The cop write me two tickets on the 27th of December, 2006. Both tickets have different court date though both for the past. One of them, it said for me to appear in court on 11th of January, 2006... nearly a year before the incodent. The other court date was writen to be 11th of December, 2006, only a few weeks before...

So is this grounds for dismissal or what?

I own a condo and am renting it out in Portland, Oregon through a property management company. I signed an agreement stating that "the mgnmt co. is to maintain the property in good repair in accordance with the management plan, local codes and any other applicable laws of this state or its subdivisions. This includes, but is not limited to, cleaning, painting, decorating, plumbing, carpentry, grounds care, and such other maintenance and repair as may be necessary subject to limitations imposed by owner in writing in advance. Expenses associated with maintenance and repair shall be paid out of owner's operating client trust account." "agent shall make or cause to be made ordinary and reasonable repairs, without the prior written approval of trhe owner, in an amount not to exceed $500.00, except emergency..." The mgnt co. spends so much of my money/ mo on misc. expenses. This last month was $300 for blinds and $100 for misc. repairs. What rights do I have as an owner?

i really need help with this one. my government teacher assigned us to do these hearings where we researched something in the constitution and argued about it infront of some people she brought in. we had a group of four, and the fourth member crapped out on us and didnt do any work. the teacher said that she would kick people out of groups if they didnt work. it was a bluff, she didnt want to do kick her out. so we presented with her anyway, and she didnt say much of anything at all. i needed a B to get a B for the semester and my stupid teacher gave our group a C.
im workin on a way to prove our case and get the few points to get the grade, but any suggestions would be very helpful!!!

I have a court order in California and it gave me custody and child support orders. I then got back together with the dad in another state. Did I void those orders? And now I am not with the dad anymore, but Im now in a totally different state than the first two. So does anyone know if my California orders from the beginning are still good?

They used my computer but their yahoo email account. The sceren name was not registered to my account . I did not know they were going to do this. When I ask them why they did it, they said so it couldn't be traced back to them. The Yahoo ID was a fake. What do I do? I told them if I got into trouble I was going to give the authorities their name. They said, "you have to prove it was me". Nice Friend? How do I erase all traces of this on my computer and account?????

I have been tryin gto solve this problem for 2 months now. It started with an evening out with a neighbour's child who is 2 years old and giving her a kid's haircut at the local hairdresser and has escalated into a threat by the Father and Mother of a lawsuit for damages due to interferring with their religious customs and well ..now I 'm needing to pay for a trip to India to remove the "spell" on the child and not seeing the child any longer and not being friends with them and having the wife look me up and down and turn her head in disgust and lower her head and walk past me in uttermost disgust...all over a "blotched haircut"" as they term it. I cannot solve this problem. I wrote a letter of apology but they told me that they do not accept a letter as such....and want to go to court for damage payments due to the disgrace I have put on them with their child having her hair cut earlier than age 3 etc etc.
I will need to see a lawyer I think and ask for a release form to end this .??

I got divorced 08/05 the Judgement of Dissolution stated that we entered an agreement "petitioner (my x) agrees to pay community debt with credit card acct # in the amount of $8,000.00 and hold the respondent (me) harmless from any liability incurred by such debt. Petionioner (my x) does so with the understanding and agreement that the card shall no longer be used untill complete balance paid off." Balance due as of 08/05 was $8,000.00. Since that time balance has rose up to 9,731.25 in part by a cash advance transaction he made on 09/19/06 where he withdrew $2,000.00 in to his checking account & due to the high interest rate wich was 32.240%. I contacted him and ?d y he withdrew he said because he had to. Collections called me since no payment had been made since 07/06 because payment made 08/06 bounced. I have sent him 3 certified letters & called him numerus times he won't pick up the phone I live in California he has moved to Florida. What do I do?

after a year, my lawyer had put me on continuances for a year. This hole time, I'm thinking that I will serve out my deferred sentenance of 215 days. Needless to say when I went to court the DA did not have confermation of my BA, so the case was dismissed. I'm glad about that, but I feel that my lawyer did not do his job, but I paid the Price any suggestions.
