you can't go around threatening people.
report it to the police.
take the name and badge number of whom ever you speak to.
if your city police won't file a report and charges call the state police.
tell them that death threats have been made against you and by whom.
tell them that you called the local police and were denied action.
give them the name and badge number of the local police officer who failed to do his/her duty.
no state in this country allows one person to make death threats against another person.
it would be even better if you had some proof of the threat.
like a recording, a threatening letter or a witness.

You may get away with it in Maine, but you wouldn't in NY> It is against the law to threaten others.

the 1st step is notifying the police. they're going to positioned the ball in action. they're going to take your assertion and pictures of your injuries. they're going to arrest the alleged offenders on the scene if there is adequate probable reason. After the arrest you would be notified and your testimony would be mandatory on the courtroom trial. the undertaking would enter a plea or be sentenced by using the courtroom.

Because shamefully, our government says that they must ACTUALLY commit harm against you before it is considered against the law. They CANNOT however defame or libel you in any way that will harm your reputation. THAT, my friend, will land their butts in jail, and could cost them a fortune!
